Kimchi House Korean Restaurant

Easily one of the best Korean restaurants I've ever had the privilege of eating at. Forgive the short review but words will not do justice to how great the food was, you just need to try it if you are a fan of Asian cuisine. Other than the bacon wrapped scallops, we had no idea what we were ordering but all four courses had us "Meg Ryaning" the entire time.

Im giving the atmosphere 5 stars as their prices reflect a conservative approach to sharing their food which is the star of the show, despite a clean bright and open dining room - they could renovate and then you charge double - but you wouldnt like that as much. The Bulgogi is one of the most delicious use of simple ingredients ive ever had - the key is their preparation, presentation and care - this food contains Love. Friendly, prompt service and left feeling like I ate exactly what I was hungry for. See you next time Im in town!

So good! The food is phenomenal. Both locations in Hinton and Jasper. You can’t go wrong. The service is great, portions are generous. Very flavourful. Super compassionate owners as well who fed our community no charge no questions asked during wildfire evacuations.

We had a stop at Kimchi House Hinton last night while traveling back to edmonton and i can say they have the BEST Beef Bulgogi in town!! Reasonable price and friendly staff. We got the dinner for two but its actually good for 3 lol much food with this deal you definitely must try. Over all we are satisfied. Till next time 😊

Overpriced, inauthentic "Korean" food. Ironically for a place named "Kimchi House" they don't serve you kimchi with your meal.

I had a Yukyejang at Jasper store.
Half frozen rice with all mixed ingredients in the soup- I suspect they were mostly leftovers. Also no side banchan at all most of Korean restaurants provide the customers for free of charge. I have never seen, never heard any Korean restaurant used old, ready made and defrosted rice for their customers. Rice is the most cheapest ingredient Korean restaurants use. It is is a shame this kind of people operate and get 5 star reviews in restaurant business in Canada.

Food was delicious and fairly priced! There's parking outside and plenty of seating. Our waitress was so nice and gave us great recommendations. Another waiter came and offered to make my food spicy for me! Great service.

He said, I don't think this is Korean food.
Objectively speaking
It's Korean food and it's hard to say.
The food doesn't taste good either.
It smells like chicken. It smells like beef.
Udon tastes like powdered soup or seasoning.
I ate because I was so hungry
I left a lot
When did you cook the rice? It's in very bad condition.
I wish food was fresher, healthier, and tastier.
I leave a bad opinion on purpose.
I didn't want to, but
I definitely think we need to improve

The food here is very good! We had the menu for 2 people and this was more than enough for us. Very friendly staff who were very polite. Only compliments for this tent!
