I stopped at this A&W in Hinton while driving from Edmonton to Jasper, and it was exactly what I needed. I love their Buddy Burgers, and they did not disappoint. They were fresh, hot and tasty, just as I expected. I also had their famous root beer in a frosted mug, which was wonderfully refreshing after a long drive.

The whole restaurant was neat and spotless, with clean tables, a bright, modern dining area and plenty of seating. The washrooms were super clean too, which matters a lot on a road trip. The Halloween decorations, with ghosts, balloons and banners, made the place look really fun and festive.

The staff were excellent. The girls at the counter were friendly, helpful and spoke so nicely, and our food was prepared fresh and even brought to our table.

Outside, there's a cool orange-and-black train engine on display that makes a great photo spot, plus a patio seating area where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air (smokers can sit out there too).

Important tip for travellers: Hinton is the last major town to fill up on gas before Jasper, so don't miss it! There's a Shell gas station with a Tim Hortons drive-thru right near this A&W (regular gas was 159.9 when I visited), so you can fuel up, grab a coffee, eat and freshen up all in one stop.

Clean place, fresh hot food, clean washrooms, and great staff. What more could you want? If you're heading to Jasper, make this your stop. I'll definitely be back with my family and recommend it to everyone!”

“A great meal tonight at Dodam Sushi! We had the crazy mama roll, the teriyaki chicken roll, the yam tempura roll, and the gyoza to start. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Delicious. Superb.

My only complaint would be that the restaurant's choice of music was a bit too loud, it was hard to make conversation because the volume of the music was turned up just a little too much.

Otherwise, it was a completely great experience! I can't wait to come back soon. Looking forward to it!”

“We decided to order take out from the hotel attached . My kids had breakfast, it was ok. Myself I had delicious dry big fettuccine with garlic loaf , and my spouse fish n chips. All in all we thought it was pretty great. Good portions, very nice employees, and overall a great dinner. We ate our food so fast I only got a photo of the fish dinner :)”
