“The GOAT of sandwich shops — If you go to Jasper, grab a sandwich and have a chat with Dustin. What an incredibly passionate, world travelled (You can strike up a conversation in English, Japanese or Spanish!), knowledgeable and down right interesting man. We could have chatted with him all day. We gave him free range based off of our preferences for our sandwiches and I would have never thought to pair some of the ingredients together — a true masterpiece.”
“Came here for breakfast on the weekend and it was amazing. We had the Persian Eggs which was phenomenal and so fresh. The workers were so kind and polite, as well as the service was top-notch. The place itself is pretty small, but such a beautiful cafè. Highly recommend!”
“If you’re going to Jasper this is the real deal for Indian food - trust me we tried another one too… Haldi. The service is very kind and prompt here. The food was very, very good. The portions were too much (we took some home). If I would say one bad thing it would be that they should have more cultural decorations. India is a country full of culture. Overall though, very good experience for sure. Great job Andaaz :)”
“10/10 - a hidden gem indeed. The restaurant was somewhat hidden during evening time because the neighborhood was not crowded and well-lit. Regardless, the food was amazing: sashimi was super fresh, tempura was crunchy, most of all you get a lot for the price you pay :) you can tell the chef put his heart into the food.”
“A very nice evening with friends. Very good service and taste at the highest level. Everything fits us very well. We will come back and would be happy to recommend ?”
“Surprisingly great spot in Jasper! Spent a few nights in the town while skiing and this was my favorite dinner. Coming in I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the vibe inside is very chill and the food is much more upscale than imagined. I tried the braised beef, and spring rolls for appetizer. Both were absolutely incredible. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Jasper, only downside is the higher prices, but that’s to be expected here.”
“My Wife and I had dinner here on a cold, windy night. The lighting and atmosphere inside were great! The staff was very friendly! We ordered the calamari and fish and chips. My fish was overdone but upon informing the staff, it was corrected quickly and minutes later I had fresh fried fish that was soft, flaky and tasty! Good job on the staff to correct it quickly! Food was delicious and reasonably priced! Loved the fact that the fish was coated with panko”
“Reached Jasper around noon, good thing that we had wicked cup, right next of our lounge. We had veggie burger, chicken flatbread and coffee. Everything was delicious and served hot. Will visit again soon!”
“This is the place I was looking for long time in Canada which reminds Japan a lot. I’ve tried many Japanese restaurants but most of them are westernized (in a good way for sure) but here, I can feel the respect for ordinary Japanese izakaya style. I really love the atmosphere and tastes are wonderful. I definitely come back.If you’re looking for authentic Japanese restaurant/izakaya, here’s the place !!”
“You should try their Tonkatsu ramen, its so rich in ingredients and the taste is so good. One of the crew Marrise, is really accommodating and helpful and the Owner Tong and Lana are so friendly.”
“Pretty much what you would expect at a Famoso location. A good place to go if you are wanting pizzas and pastas. One suggestion I have is for them to include more vegetables in kids' menu items.”
“So tasty food, staff so kind and fast especially Scott, food is awesome. Great experience, highly recommend! Prices are cheaper than in similar restaurants in Edmonton imho.”
“Wonderful atmosphere, great food, just right portions. A bit overpriced but it's a lakeside resort in the rocky mountains.Highly recommend the bison and the sable fish. The beet salad was pretty great too, just remember you had beets the next day.Had breakfast there too, the standard fare with eggs and hash browns was excellent.Overall very accommodating with allergies and preferences too.”
“Just visited last week and was very happy with the entire experience! Food was delicious and quick! The ambiance was very nice as well with live trees throughout the interior and comfortable seating too. Recommend the chicken souvalaki! Our waitress was new but did her best (she did very well!) and the rest of the staff was very pleasant. A nice family restaurant with many options to please everyone. Will be visiting again on our next trip to Jasper!”
“Took a recommendation from an employee at JPL to make a reservation and very glad we did. Lavender gin sour for cocktail was very well done. Flautas and chicken wings for appetizers, both excellent with the wings being a standout. Pastilla and Seafood pot for mains. Although both were good, the appetizers stood out above. Portions were good sizes although both seemed like was missing to make them stand out. Wine service was excellent with good pairings on the menu by the glass. Rachel as a server was a pleasure to have table side. Looks like they have a great happy hour and specials offered at different times. Will look forward to another visit on a follow up trip.”
