At Andaaz Restaurant in Jasper, the wide array of Gujarati vegetarian dishes reflects the influence of its Gujarati management, offering a unique and authentic culinary experience. Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Canadian Rockies, Andaaz combines the warmth of traditional Indian hospitality with the flavors of Gujarat, making it a standout dining destination in Jasper.

Stepping into Andaaz, I was greeted by a cozy and inviting ambiance that immediately set the stage for a delightful meal. The restaurant's modern decor and attentive service enhanced the dining experience, adding to the overall charm of the evening.

The menu at Andaaz boasts a diverse selection of Gujarati vegetarian specialties, each prepared with meticulous care and attention to detail. From hearty Paneer dishes to freshly baked Naan breads, every bite was a celebration of flavors and textures that delighted the palate.

During my visit, I indulged in their Paneer Tikka Masala, a creamy and flavorful dish that highlighted the richness of paneer marinated in spices and simmered in a luscious tomato-based sauce. The freshly baked Naan was the perfect accompaniment, warm and pillowy, perfect for soaking up the delicious gravies and sauces.

What stood out about Andaaz was not just the quality of the food but also the authenticity of its Gujarati cuisine. The flavors were robust and distinct, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to offering an authentic taste of Gujarat in the heart of Jasper.

Whether you're a vegetarian enthusiast or simply curious about exploring the flavors of Gujarat, Andaaz Restaurant promises a culinary journey that combines traditional recipes with the natural beauty of Jasper's mountainous surroundings. It's a place where every dish tells a story and every visit leaves a lasting impression of warmth, flavor, and hospitality.

We were surprised to find Avalakki/Poha and uppittu/upma. And all other items were very very good. We went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 days. Every time it was a nice homely feeling.

Vegetarian options: Plenty.

It’s super crowded and the food is average!

Malai chap, vada pav and poha were good. Garlic naan missed the typical garlic flavour! Paneer butter masala was not great either.

If you really want to try, instead of dine in opt for take out as the service is super slow and long wait times to get the tables

We ordered some fried chicken and goat curry. Received burnt chicken after 35 minutes. On of the worst experiences I ever had. Service was horrible. The review seems like was paid for it. Think twice before you go there.

Worst Experience ever just as soon as we arrived, they didn’t had any tables available. Instead of asking us or requesting us if we would like to wait, they offered us to sit outside, near the garbage disposal and washroom…!!! Wowwwwwww… how can someone even ask to sit in that kinda location?

Surprisingly good Indian food on the upper level of a market in downtown jasper. The daal and rice and naan was great. The staff was quite friendly and willing to accommodate the needs of our group.

Delayed review but needs to be added. We went there on 2nd July 2024. In the evening the restaurant is packed. They have wait times of more then 1 hr but stay there you may end up getting a table in 15 mins just like us. We got to the table and ordered the food. It was busy but the service was quick. Thanks to the lady who took our order to suggest that the portion we ordered will be too much food for 3 people. And she was right. We did not waste any food and it was the perfect amount. The food was really good and Also they have Sula wine from Nasik,India. We took a bottle to go and enjoyed it at home. Thank you for serving us.

We had ordered Chana masala and paneer kadhai. It was a complete bland taste. The only thing they made with some flavours was vadapau. It was a complete disappointment.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options but they are not good.
