Unfortunately did not live up to the reviews. We had the 3 course dinner last night and every dish was relatively mediocre. The French onion soup was the most flavourful thing we had, it was delicious but unfortunately extremely salty, it felt like the soup had been on too long to reduce. Two of us both got the 3-course dinner and shared both our appetizers, so between the two of us we could not finish that bowl of soup. Everything after felt tasteless for the first few bites until the salt washed away, but once we adjusted, unfortunately the entrees still fell flat. Ended up taking the desserts home and I didn’t care for it either.
I’m quite confused about all the rave reviews about the food.
The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn’t return.

OMG!!! You GOTTA eat here!! The food is perfect! The staff are perfect!! The atmosphere is perfect!! Our 3rd time here and we will definitely come back again. I come for my Christmas birthday. Pam and her sister make this place so welcoming.

We ate here our last night in Jasper, french onion soup, elk stroganoff, maple cheesecake, all excellent, great service from friendly staff, we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Fiddle River as become a favorite stop for us in Jasper. The food has been great every time we go, never any complaints. And we always leave stuffed! The restaurant also has a lovely view of the mountains. But where this place truly shines is the service. They are so welcoming and friendly, it honestly makes you feel like you are being hosted in someone's home. Top notch.

What a delight! The service is gracious and genuine- our server was so lovely and personable. I had pan fried trout and my husband had the game meatloaf- both were cooked perfectly! I had a dirty gin martini that was outstanding- very cozy romantic room with beautiful views

Saturday night visit around 7pm.
Our first visit, lovely location and atmosphere. Our service was outstanding. So friendly. Our drinks came fast, food as well. Wife had fiddle fish pot and was pretty good.
I had Halibut. It came with veg and rice with I thought were quite good. The Halibut was not. Decent chunk of fish unfortunately was way over cooked. Inside was dry and outside was crusty and hard.
Will try again some other time

We had a lovely yummy seafood dinner with an amazing view and a really lovely server! Amazing bread and butter and great wine!
