The pav bhaji had a bad taste and the flavour was completely bland. It lacked the rich, spicy taste that pav bhaji should have, and felt like it had no seasoning at all. Definitely not worth the price.

★☆☆☆☆ Worst Experience – Never Going Back

Had one of the worst dining experiences here. Firstly, the food was served cold. When we complained, the staff simply took the plates away without a single word of apology or explanation very bad customer service. The food quality was terrible – the roti and naan were burnt, and everything tasted like it was made from frozen gravy just reheated, with an overwhelming amount of tomato purée in every dish. Completely disappointing. Lesson learned – will never step into this place again.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Haldi was so disappointing that I have to warn others. From start to finish, everything was a disaster.

Service: The staff seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. We waited 20 minutes just for water and had to flag someone down multiple times. No smiles, no basic courtesy.

Food Quality: Honestly, the food tasted stale and bland. My curry was lukewarm, oily, and had zero authentic flavor. The naan was dry and chewy like it had been sitting out all

Value for Money: For the price they charge, you’d expect at least decent food and service. Instead, I left feeling ripped off.

The flavor in the food was outstanding—truly authentic and absolutely delicious. For dinner, we enjoyed Dal Tarka and Roti, and at breakfast, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The egg bhurji was a standout, perfectly spiced to my liking. The Indian tea was also excellent. Finding such high-quality Indian cuisine in this location feels like a real treasure. Additionally, the service was impressive; it was quick, and our server was incredibly friendly.

We had Goat curry, Chicken masala, Geera Rice and Garlic naan. We liked the garlic naan, perfectly cooked. The meat dish is just ok. Too much oil and not as tasty. Chicken masala is a little sweet for my taste.

Food quality was bad. Goat curry had runny water and beef was so cooked that the prices were breaking apart. Naan was ok but very small for the price. Chicken tikka, was boneless pieces didn’t seem barbecued but smothered with some curry/masala. Paneer kerhaai was also below average. It’s tasted like masala was made prior and paneer was just added last minute. Paneer was not cooked at all and was extremely bland. I would expect a better food quality and taste for the price they are charging.

I had one of the most disappointing experiences with chicken biryani at this restaurant. For $23.99 + $1.20 environmental fee (total $26.14), I expected a decent portion and some quality — but it was severely lacking.

The portion was shockingly small — not even enough for a child. It came with only 4 or 5 tiny pieces of chicken.

The rice was overly oily and lacked the rich flavour you'd expect from a proper biryani.

There were no sides included — no yogurt (raita), no salad, nothing. At this price, that’s very disappointing.

Honestly, the price and portion felt like a bad joke. I’ve had much better biryani for half the price elsewhere. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one was just too far below basic expectations. Wouldn’t recommend.
