While exploring the town of Jasper, we came across the only Chinese restaurant in town and decided to give it a try.
The restaurant is nice, cozy, and welcoming, a comfortable place to enjoy a warm meal after a long day out. The menu offers a good variety of Chinese dishes, which is quite impressive given the location.
We ordered the corn soup, stir-fried broccoli with chicken, cabbage, and fried noodles, and everything tasted really good. Considering this is far from Asia, the flavours were surprisingly pretty authentic and well-seasoned (well at least its close enough). The corn soup was comforting, the stir-fried dishes were fresh and nicely cooked, and the fried noodles were hearty and filling.
The service was great — friendly and efficient — and the dishes came out very quickly, which we appreciated. Portions are big and generous, so it’s best not to over-order if you’re a small eater, as the servings are definitely meant for sharing.
A good option to keep in mind if you’re in Jasper and craving Asian food after days of Western meals.

This place is good for a large party as they have some big round tables. I would recommend the curry beef, Shanghai noodle and beef with veggies. The pork dish (honey fry pork) is under average. I would suggest to avoid this one. Overall, it is still a restaurant I would not mind to go again in the area. They open on Christmas day!

This place is fantastic! Decided to stop by unplanned as we were looking for a place to eat nearby. We settled in and got the combo set meal for 2. Food served was great, not overly seasoned and just right. Heard it was even just one chef who was working at the back, making it all the more impressive! We thought it was amazing being able to taste such great chinese food (we are chinese) in such a far-flung location such as Jasper.
Staff were also kind and friendly! Be sure to give this place a shot when you’re nearby. Beats any of the other places, especially since I felt this place was very well worth it for its price point.

My elderly parents were craving Chinese food while traveling in Jasper. We decided on this restaurant because of its great reviews. We ordered a few dishes to share. The foods were delicious and flavors were well balanced. My mom refuses to dine at hole in the wall places, she approves of this restaurant's cleanliness and decor. The staff were attentive. We were surprised to find such a good quality Chinese restaurant in Jasper. Our tummies are happy and satisfied.

Ordered beef and noodles and it was very oily and not flavorful. Also had fried rice which was good and fresh. Also asked for sauces for our meal and they never returned. The staff were kind however. They were busy and focused on large parties, so it just may have been we were not the priority. Prob won’t return.

Greetings from San Francisco! This Chinese restaurant serves excellent, authentic Chinese food and the service is quick. Highly recommended!
We travel from San Francisco and had asian dinner mostly during the trip. Had Pho House and Chopsticks in Banff and Korean in Jasper. Jasper China Restaurant is by far the best choice. We had scallops with sweet peas, Egg with Beef, satay chicken hot pot, Thai style pork chops and beef chow fun. All were very tasty. All four of us loved the scallops and beef chow fun is comparable to San Francisco chinese restaurants. Unfortunately they couldn't prepare the Hot & Sour soup. I would recommend this restaurant if your asian bud is calling.
