Good food at dinner with friendly service. Unfortunate that the menu is thin on fish or vegetarian options. Also kind of weird that they won't serve coffee before exactly 8:00.

Zucchini was refreshing. The filling complemented each other well.

Mushroom toast was flavorful and had meat bits deep fried.

Pork belly was lettuce wrap with marinated salad. Pork might have been a bit dry.

Pasta was good. Good seasoning, taste and texture. Love the mushroom and bean sprouts.

Thai chicken had pickled pepper which added wonderful colour's and visually difference to a great dish. Plenty of juice and cooked just right.

Cauliflower had frank's red hot sauce? It was not overly done and taste great.

Drinks were good.

Saw an elk outside the restaurant and was still there when we left.

Overall a hidden gem in Jasper. You should definitely try it out.

We dined at the Kumama for all three nights we were in Jasper. It was some of the best food we had on our holiday in Canada. The menu was impressive and all the dishes we tried tasted great. The staff there are very attentive without being annoying and we felt well looked after. A special should out to Fird for making our dining experiences so special on our anniversary!

The place was super cute, the staff were lovely... but we were honestly perplexed at all the high reviews, because the food and coffee were bad.
We had both eggs bennies, everything was cooked perfectly but the flavours were terrible together. The pulled pork tasted like it had very sweet tikka masala sauce on, and the mushroom one didn't have much flavour at all. I really did not like the puff pastry it was served on, it didn't work with or add to the dish.
The coffee tasted watery and bitter.
Disappointed and confused that such a highly reviewed place was this bad. And sorry to the staff, this is no reflection on them, they were every lovely.

If you enjoy the emerging Asian foodie style restaurant, this is THE spot in Jasper. We enjoyed all of the food we ordered from the curated/smallish menu. There's also a bar area and a provisions section for items you can take with you.

Very creative, and extremely yummy food by a woman chef who cleverly combines Eastern and Western cuisines. We loved all the food that we ordered and shared. We had dinner and came back for breakfast, and bought to-go salad bowls for lunch later. The place is cozy and tastefully decorated. Kudos to the talented chef and the friendly staffs!

Fantastic all around! I loved both the malaysian curry fried chicken and the cacio e pepe tagliatelle. I also appreciate their complimentary sangria amd lemonade. The staff was very attentive and gave good Banff and Jasper recommendations.

I bring my 70s parents with me and they love all the food. It is Asian influenced menu and it is still so good. You have to visit here if you come to Jasper. Our waiter is so great and helpful. You have to come here !!!
