Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere.I am unable to properly describe the fantastic, complex, nuanced food that is served here. Incredible all the way from the soup to the desert. Friendly staff, prices very reasonable. Very highly recommended.

We showed up near the end of dinner service. The chef catered to our every need. Our server was exceptional. We never felt rushed. The food was absolutely incredible. I won’t be able to come back to Jasper without visiting here.

Love everything about this restaurant. My mom and I shared the white truffle scallops and the crispy chicken and brie sandwich and they were both unreal. I had an amazing passionfruit margarita too. Definitely check out this family-owned restaurant.

We were recently in Jasper with friends and family and chose the Olive as our venue for a birthday dinner. We were a large group: ~20 people, including a bunch of children. Daryl and the team at the Olive were wonderful: the booking process via email was seamless, and the staff were welcoming and friendly the night of our dinner. The food was delicious (which we expected, having dined at the Olive before), and the cocktails were enjoyed by all. Daryl and his team even created a birthday tiramisu for us to share (so large that we were able to take home leftovers for breakfast the next day). This was the first of several group dinners that we had in Jasper during our time there, and everyone who attended agreed that it was by far their favorite. The Olive has secured itself a regular stop on all of our future Jasper visits...strongly recommend that you visit!

This placed stopped somewhere in the 90s and not in a good way. Very long menu, mix type of cuisine, and lack of quality food. We ordered pasta and honestly the contrast between price vs quality was extreme. The atmosphere in this place equals to a good dinner after a funeral. No go for young to mid age people.

They phoned it in on the food. We got the pasta Pomodoro, it tasted like it came from a box. I did like that they added pesto to the edge of the bowl, however the cheese they chose for the top was super odd. It was bland and lacked most spices and it was hard to enjoy. It was a boring pasta dish. The olives are hard, bad, and woody. We had to send them back. :/ I don't want to be hard on this place because the server was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. But geeze guys, do better. We saw a local advertisement for this place where they advertised happy hour and they didn't open until after that. Also they advertised craft beer and only had four mass market beers available. Why would you even offer craft beer if you don't know what that means. All in all, I hope they improve.

We had just finished a long hike, were famished, wanted some hearty food but didn't have time to sit and eat. Olive came to the rescue. The Sweet Potato Pave hit the spot. Very toothsome and vegan to boot. One of the best vegan dishes we've ever had. There was no side of fries on the menu, but Olive accommodated us and they were the best fries either of us have had in memory. We couldn't believe it. We were blown away by the hospitality and quality of Olive and will definitely be going back for our next after hike meal.

My mom, sister and I came in for my sisters birthday dinner and had an absolutely amazing time. Some of the best food I have had out in a while, but the absolute star was the level of service. We decided very last minute to have dinner in Jasper and travel in from Edmonton. We called while we were on the road to make a reservation (about 5:30) and asked what the latest reservation we could make was. In the off season the kitchen closes at 9 and the restaurant itself closes at 10, so the staff member assisting us asked if we could be there by 8:30. As we were already on our way, we figured, yes, we could make this work. He must have heard the hesitation in my moms voice because he said he would put us down for 8:45 and if we were early that would be fine.We arrived just after 8:30 and our server Willow was PHENOMINAL. Willow made sure that we did not feel rushed, and actively encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our meal. When it came to dessert, we knew that we were getting very close to closing and so did not want to hold the staff up in getting their closing duties done so asked if we could order dessert to go. We were told that we didn't have to rush on the staffs behalf and that we should take our time to have birthday dessert. I have been a server, I know that it can be frustrating when there is a table that is sticking around, so having that reassurance that we were not being a nuisance was amazing and impressed us more than anything could have. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients and the scale of the restaurant. We were expecting to spend around $100 per person as we ordered wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts and the bill came to just under $70 per person. Honestly we were pleasantly surprised at the price point. We ordered the Saganaki to start, a new experience for us and deliciously crispy on the edges. The lemon Naan bread was a great compliment for the saltiness of the cheese.Entrees:My sister ordered the Crispy Chicken and Brie sandwich and said it was delicious. The serving size of the crispy chicken was very generous and with just the right amount of crunch to the bater. The seasoning on the fries was also top notch. My mom ordered the Moules et Frites as an entree and again the portion size was impressive. Even as a shared appetizer, the amount of muscles felt generous. The garlic dijon cream sauce? Freaking amazing. I would love to bottle that up and take it home.I ordered the market seafood, which was a maple (and ginger I think?) glazed salmon with some sort of puree (I can't remember exactly what) and seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were cooked just right, still some firmness without being raw, the glaze on the salmon was mouth watering and the cook on it was perfection. The puree was also delicious and perfectly textured.I will recommend this place to anyone who asks where to eat in Jasper. Next time will will plan more in advance!

Both meals inedible dessert gross as well. Burger was soggy so much mustard it was disgusting. Chicken Brie burger was nasty it was soaking wet when you take a bite the sauce sprayed out all over so you’re covered in it. Flavourless soggy fries. Lava cake was cold and soggy. Over $60 for food and it was sick. We threw all the food out and had to get food elsewhere how disappointing.
