Taking the train cross Canada, while stopping at Jasper, I found this sushi place and decided to give it a try. The environment is clean and nice. The girl who works as a waitress is kind and welcoming. I ordered one spicy salmon roll and one spicy chop scallop roll, and GOd... It cost me $20 +tip for 2 sushi rolls to take out. I have to say this is the most expensive sushi I have ever tried. And the thing is, the salmon is not very fresh cause some parts had turned color. Overall, I give the place 4 and their food 3. Well, as the only sushi place in Jasper, I think that makes the place overall a good quick stop for food. Tha

I’m sharing a review from my experience here on July 9. Look at how the owner had responded to my review. Guess I had to elaborate. Customer is not the king I suppose. Changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star due to the rudeness. Guess I have to review only 5 stars always & not give room for you to improve. Anyhow, We had ordered edamame, agedashi tofu & yakisoba. Except the edamame everything else was too bland & tasteless. We have had better agedashi tofu & yakisoba elsewhere, hence we do know how it tastes.

We had a wonderful dinner, so great we came back twice! I got the stone pot bibimbap which was good and I have eaten lots of it! The California rolls and gyoza were very good (I’ve had some bad flavorless versions in the past). Had the house salad to go which was also fresh. Staff is very friendly and cute decor.

Vegetarian options: Edamames, salad, tofu and veggie teriyaki

Kid-friendliness: Big booths, well spaced bright area

The service are very slow and bad, ordered the noodles is $18 and $21 before taxes . We waited more than 30 minutes, then they only gave us instant noodles.

Great assortment of Japanese food (poke, sushi, sashimi, ramen) and Korean food! Ordered a few items to share and all are very solid. Sushi was delicious with a side of fried mushrooms, lots of toppings although they do have more authentic nigiri-style sushi. Loved the beef bulgogi and japchae!! Really satisfied my craving for Asian food that day. Staff was also nice and efficient. Recommended if you are looking for good Asian food in Jasper

I don't understand why nobody mentions how gross the stablishment is. The tables smell like chlorine with water, the chopsticks are gross as well, with chewing marks, that dishes STILL HAVE FOOD ON THEM! The taste is good, and fast, the service is too nice. But, just to think that outside can have such gross things, imagine the kitchen! If you like the possibility to get a disease while you eat, go there! It's as hygienic as street food.
And also, while I was there I didn't complain with the servers since the manager or someone was literally yelling at them in another language 'cause they were complaining about the amount of help they had that day, and instead of looking for a solution he was screaming at them.
So I refuse to eat in a restaurant that is supposed to be clean, and in a place where servers don't care at all because they are being yelled by their boss while the restaurant is full

Unremarkable. The food took way too long from the time I ordered until it came to the table. And it arrived in weird spurts and starts. Tempura came first when I had specifically asked for it to arrive after the pieces of Nigiri Sushi. Ordered 4 pieces of Nigiri, 2 arrived and then much later the other 2 arrived. This really was unacceptable. Total for all of the oddly scattered and late food was CA$38. It was certainly not worth the price asked. If it makes a difference this venue seems to be Korean-Canadian owned and run, not Japanese-Canadian owned and run. I would suggest that one not attend this vendor, in Latin "caveat emptor!"

Do not have a single complaint about this restaurant. Food was reasonably priced and service was quick. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of them met or exceeded expectations, with the bill for a party of 5 only being 120$ for quality Japanese and Korean food. The beef yakisoba was a bit too salty, but not enough to make it inedible and warrant a request for exchange. The pork katsu was crispy on the outside and perfectly textured on the inside and well seasoned. If you cannot handle spicy it's recommended to ask for mild spice for the hot stone soondobu seafood soup dish, and being located hundreds of kilometers from the ocean the seafood served was surprisingly fresh tasting. The gimbap was also surprisingly good, a simple dish and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit and would go again.

Good enough sushi place in the mountains. The tempuras were good. I enjoy the basic sushi but didn't like the beef as much.
