Excellent food and drink, top shelf service. Very nice atmosphere looking out at the lake.
After having the food hyped up with hard sell on the prix fix menu and told that it would be slow fine dining, we had our appetizers in front of us before the cocktails had even been delivered. Focacia arrived after the appetizers. Lamb shank was tasty but served cold. Much lower end restaurants these days take care to serve hot food on hot plates, disappointingly not Orso. And finally before, during and after each of the courses we were served large helpings of BS. On a positive note, we appreciated the complimentary dessert, after we requested it, when the payment technology failed.
I don't even know where to start from, our server Christine 😍😍😍 she was amazing. It was my wife's birthday and she made it special.
We had a wonderful time. Went for my son's birthday. Food was exquisite, ambiance was calm and quiet, service was great and the view was second to none. My son got a wonderful complimentary assortment of bite sized desserts for his birthday.
Outstanding service from Kieran. Delicious lamb shank and buffalo. Tiramisu great dessert.
Kiran took amazing care of us. His recommendations were spot on and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend!
I was very excited to have a table at this highly rated restaurant - and because it was our anniversary they saved us a table with a beautiful view. The service was excellent although I did feel as though the waiter was attempting to upgrade us on the menu. We are light eaters and my husband does not drink. We were ending a full day of travel and needed to get back to our other hotel. The menu is not extensive and did not seem to offer many typical Italian dishes which did surprise me. I ordered the chicken Alfredo but the chicken was shredded which was very odd. My husband chose the bison which did not have much flavor. They did serve complimentary focaccia bread and it was excellent! You will need a taxi to get to the restaurant and back if you are not staying at the Fairmont.
Unless you are staying at the Lodge, parking can be an issue. Little if any signage for finding the restaurant once on the property. Not sure it was worth over $200 for two diners.
Outstanding meal. Pricey but good and service was excellent. Our service waiter Karan went over and above to ensure we had a wonderful experience!
The restaurant setting was typically Fairmont upper end hotel type decor, comfortable and nicely appointed. Jumping straight to the food and menu there was plenty of offerings. Albeit at a higher price level. We opted for the three course menu, which was a great value, depending on what you choose. For appies we had tomato and Barrata and the surf and turf, scallop and pork belly, both nicely presented and tasty. For the means we had the ribeye steak (a real deal with 12 oz) and the lobster spaghetti. Ribeye was a bit over seared with too much char, but was tender nonetheless, the pasta was a good helping size with plenty of lobster, though with more claw than tail. Still the pasta was a good helping, contrary to many upscale pasta joints, which just give you a dollop of pasta these days. Desserts was the special tiramisu and the lemon gamut ice cream, both very good. Our server from Croatia was very good and enjoyed her service. Very enjoyable evening!

Great restaurant with perfect service, great food and good options for kids. Ideal for taking a planetarium tour later (we started 7:30pm for the 9:45 tour and that was perfect for three courses).
The ambiance and view is great, which isn't surprising for a Fairmont property. Shockingly, the service leaves much to be desired. From the host greeting to the server taking care of us was an odd experience and likely doesn't represent the brand...unless culture has changed. Be prepared to order the tasting menu, as that was continuously pushed. The celebratory dinner missed the mark and walking along the lake was more enjoyable than the dinner experience.
Christina was an absolutely amazing server. Above and beyond! Thank you. The food was exceptional as well.
The service was great. The menu was kind of limited, I understand them celebrating local ingredients but the selections were very gamey and not the most tasty food I've ever had. For the price point it could have been significantly better.
Considering this is a restaurant within the hotel, I thought the price was very reasonable. The food and service were excellent. Our waiter, Jeremy, was fabulous and very attentive to our needs.
