Great location! Very upscale but cozy, with a large log fire and beautiful decoration. The drinks weren't too expensive. Very nice service.

Chicken wings and the charcuterie boards are fantastic. I love getting a drink and a snack while curling up by the fireplace with read, with a view of the mountains.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Service is usually very attentive. Can’t beat the atmosphere.

Everywhere on Jasper Fairmont is without air conditioning and stifling hot! Add to that the waiter was slow and poorly trained (pretty sure he forgot to put in some of orders) and food was not that special. The Nook at Fairmont was much better.
Seeking refuge from the rain, I was warmly greeted by incredibly kind staff amidst an unexpected power outage. I decided to indulge in a Golden Owl cocktail, which turned out to be a delightful treat on such a rainy afternoon.

Excellent views and place to unwind after a full days road trip.
Sadly the food was the worst we have ever had here at the JPL. The ribs were smothered in bland sauce AFTER being cooked. The 1 oz portion of beans were flavorless as if they came straight from a can. The white cheddar grilled cheese was a dry panini. We won't be back.

We were seated at a window table giving us great views of the lake, mountains and the Jasper Park Lodge grounds. Our server was Jeff who was very pleasant and attentive. There was also to our surprise live country music. Jeff recommended the Elk burger to my wife which she thoroughly enjoyed while I had the tasty GH Chicken Sandwich. Overall a wonderful dining experience!
Certainly a great view of the lake if you are sitting outside. The service was excellent, although it was difficult to determine where the host check-in desk was situated (on the non-entry side of the room). The menu seemed to have not as many gluten free items as last year or previous years. Certainly the hand-helds were available with gluten free buns, but only if you asked the server. It was not listed. The wine list was minimal. The trout was very good, as was the fish and chips. We would go back, but it wouldn't be our first choice.

Wonderful view. Food and drink expensive for what you get....even in a National Park. I really hate waiters that speak to the man rather then the table. Update your service skills please.
Kiran was our server and worked so hard to keep us happy, and very good with allergy awareness. There is no doubt that the selling point of this place is the room interiors and the view. Ribs were disappointing... nothing special. Fish and chips were better. Some drinks (cocktails) took a while but the bar was busy. It's a huge space so doesn't feel so intimate and wasn't very busy when we visited. The live singer was good but we were seated far away from him so was a nice background level. The restaurant was quite cold. We didn't care for the dessert options at the hotel so skipped it. I would only recommend if you can't be bothered to venture out into Jasper itself one evening and want an easy in resort option.
Four us us dined here after a long day on the Rocky Mountaineer train and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I had the fish and chips with a tasty slaw and a local Pilsner on tap. My wife had the trout which she devoured and gave compliments to the chef. Highly recommend
OK, good
