We were table of 2 and had an outstanding experience at Emerald. Our server, Carra , provided exceptional service attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. The food was absolutely perfect, thanks to Chefs Tomas, Hayden,and Tal, who clearly put great care and skill into every dish. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. A truly memorable experience thank you to the entire team for making it special!

Everything was great, but we did not understand the need to play “club music” at lunch when the average age of the “Fairmont” clientele is 50/60 plus. We drove from the Fairmont in Lake Louise and had the same issue there. Just a suggestion to cater to the clientele who is staying with you and spending $$$$$ during their stays. Our club days are over. But service, food and restaurant were all good.

The Great Hall is like eating in a convention space, not very memorable. Very casual, don't need to dress up after a long day of touring. Food was ok, I guess, but I did not make any comments in my vacation diary. I did really like The Highland Old Fashioned...

Sadly the JPL has gone down hill in food quality and service in recent years. The servers are not trained to the level they need to be to meet Fairmont standards. I understand it is difficult to find staff in Jasper given recent events, but there should be more attention given to training staff. There is no polish. The Great Hall feels like a Moxie's. Servers look stunned and confused when you speak with them, it's just not a high end experience or even close to one. The atmosphere is lovely because of the setting, but overall just a mediocre food and beverage experience.

We had shrimp rigatoni and fish and chips and both were fine. Safe choices. It was noisey I guess because it's a hall lots of kids . I would have preferred the the more intimate Italian restaurant downstairs but it was closed?! which I guess why the hall was so crowded ...we also had reservations which helped
Wonderful ambiance and view, great service, terrible food. We tried quite a few things. I absolutely don't understand that a hotel of this caliber has this kind of a restaurant. Such a shame, could be so much better!

We recently dined at The Great Hall on three occasions. We enthusiastically recommend Carlos, Olivia, and Evelyn who were our servers. They offered suggestions, described various dishes, and enjoyed talking about the area as well as the lodge. We sat outside and had spectacular views of the lake, cabins, and mountains. Our food was delivered promptly and as ordered. The menu offered a variety of options, including drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Kudos to the chef(s), servers, and management, who combined make this such a special place!

Service was very slow and we didn't like having to tip our drinks into paper cups just to walk 20 meters into the dining room from the bar. Fish & chips was absolutely delicious

Very slow inattentive service. Took 15 minutes to get a glass of water. Had the ribs which were recommended. They came covered in so much fat we had to scrape it all off before reaching any meat. The side of mac and cheese was tasteless and overcooked. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food and service. Would definitely recommend eating in Jasper town instead.
