“Well, this is a first even for me, writing another review for a place I’ve now eaten at three times since recently moving here. Last night I was greeted by a new waitress, Misha (I hope I spelled that right). Misha was extremely pleasant, every bit as warm and welcoming as Brooklynn, and just as friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable when recommending dishes. And Misha did not disappoint. I started with what I believe were the NOK’S spring rolls. Great size, portion and tasted really good, but the dipping sauce left me a little disappointed. Honestly, it felt no different from what you’d get anywhere else. But this isn’t “anywhere else”, this is Oslo’s, and it should stand out just as much as the food. In my opinion (and it’s only my opinion), a sauce with a bit of heat and citrus in a creamy base would really elevate those spring rolls. Now, enough of my opinions, on to the second dish: the calamari. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and that dipping sauce had a total wow factor. I couldn’t get enough of it. I’m not ashamed to say I scraped the bowl clean, and still wanted more. Honestly, that’s exactly the type of wow factor the spring roll sauce was missing. So yes, this is my first time writing a second review, and why? Because Oslo’s, the food, the atmosphere, and the incredible staff truly deserve it. If you’re a resident of Lac La Biche and have never eaten here, you’re missing out. Maybe you’ve driven by and wondered, but kept going because it lacks curb appeal. Just remember: it’s not about what’s on the outside, what matters is what’s on the inside.”

“Quite possibly the last great Taco Bell in Alberta. The serving portions are huge. The ingredients are delicious. If you're into Taco Bell, it's worth the drive even from Edmonton. Seriously, it's out of this world good.”
