2 cans of 473ml beer for $32. Rude customer service. Small selection. Tip options when you checkout, even though you pick everything up your self. If you want a tip, I want service.

Understairs of the gift shop, cramped space with no option to sit inside on a rainy day. No wifi and indoor bathroom. The coffee is more expensive than the Agnes lake tea house! For that tea house the staff hike up with the merchandise and take the garbage bags down. This store is beside the highway. This is a clear systematic corruption.

Stopped by the Moraine Lake Café and ordered an Americano. While the taste was decent—smooth, but a bit on the lighter side—the pricing and portion size left me disappointed.
I was charged $7.30, which is quite steep. What bothered me more was that size options were clearly listed for other drinks (12oz, 16oz), but not for the Americano. What I received looked like a smaller cup, yet I was charged as if it were full-size. It felt a bit like being misled—especially considering how an Americano is typically made (espresso shots + hot water).
For a high-traffic tourist spot, I expected premium prices, but I also expect clear information and fair sizing. Unfortunately, this felt more like a pricing tactic than genuine service.

While the view at Moraine Lake is absolutely stunning, the café prices are shockingly high — to the point of price gouging. $7.50 for a can of soda, $12.50 for a single samosa, and $7 for a basic coffee is beyond excessive, even for a tourist destination.
I understand remote locations can mean higher costs but these prices feel unjustifiable and charging this much for basic refreshments leaves a bad impression.
Be prepared to pay premium prices for very basic items.

Booked Parks Canada shuttle to the lake. Traffic was light and the view was amazing. Trails around the lakes are family friendly.

''Just because you can, doesn't mean you should''
That summarizes the Cafe as far as I am concerned. Bag of small chips is five dollars and two hot chocolates TWENTY dollars. Just because you're offering a service in a remote spot, doesn't justify bleeding tourists dry.

We had an amazing experience during our lodge stay. Cannot say enough about the helpful staff, lodge accommodation, food and views!! The best part of the day is when all the public leave and just lodge guests remain- truly magical!! Will definitely be back here in the future!!
Great spot to grab some coffee, before you head out to take in the beauty everywhere in Banff

Nice little stop at Moraine Lake. The orange cranberry bread was quite tasty. It was busy but you can grab and go with coffee and baked goods for a quick stop.

The staff were friendly, but as this is the only place for food, it gets SUPER BUSY and crowded! The staff went fast considering the volume of the crowds. Nice outdoor seating area. There is also some self serve options that you do NOT have to wait in the long line for, but there is little or no signage letting you know this, And this if IF you can get through the congested line area by the small entrance/exit door. Staff and venue were great, but just be aware it can be CROWDED!

By far. The BEST matcha latte I had there. It was soo well made and soo good, omg I miss it. I tried so many lattes , the one here was soooo good. A bit busy, but understandable because it is a tourist site, so everyone should be patient. Staff was super nice. There is no public parking here, can only be accessible by tour bus or tours.
Vegetarian options: Have veggie samosas
