Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Absolutely beautiful! I definitely prefer this Fairmont to Banff’s but they were both beautiful. Lake Louise has better access to scenery, where Banff you are super close to town. Both lovely.
Loved the room service here and the finishes in our room.

My partner and I first visited the Fairmont Château Lake Louise two years ago, and our brief stay made such a lasting impression that we returned to get married last week.

Getting eloped last minute was a stressful process, but the incredible team at the Château provided the emotional support we needed. They truly lived up to their motto, 'Make Special Happen.'

The staff's coordination was seamless, and every team member was attentive and helpful. It was clear that the entire hotel was working together to make our stay perfect. As someone in the hospitality industry, I know this level of service is only possible with a well-supported and empowered team.

Thank you, Fairmont, for making our wedding so special. We can’t wait to come back.

Very elegant

An absolute gem! The location, the staff, the service, the food and the activities are top notch. We had an amazing stay and really enjoyed dining at the Fairview and Lakeview as well as the incredible breakfast at Louiza. I’ve never had a breakfast with such a gourmet buffet in addition to made to order items. The hotel hooked us up with a canoe rental which was definitely an iconic Canadian experience. A special shoutout to some all star staff members. Romy at the canoe’s, Emily at Fairview, Avery at Lakeview and Joseph Dickenson for the good vibes.

Everything is wonderful at the hotel: nice rooms, helpful staff, incredible location, except for the food at the restaurants desperately needs improvement. The Lakeview Lounge, Louiza Restaurant, and Walliser Stube were disappointing. The only really good meal we had was at the Fairview Bar and Restaurant. And charging $7.50 for a bottle of water is abusive.

Banff was always a bucket list destination for me and staying at the Fairmont Chateau LL was a dream come true! On top of that, my fiancé proposed to me on a little hike at the end Lake Louise, making this place 1000% more special.

We stayed here in early August and while it was quite crowded due to the Summer season, the exclusivity offered by the hotel was fantastic (private parking, separate entrances and lounge areas for hotel guests, discounts and quick lanes for activities). The hotel is truly magical—the grounds are kept very well, there are a lot of fauna & small chipmunks/prairie dogs/birds (please respect the wildlife!), and all of the staff are very professional. We had a high floor, lake view room and although it was a little small, everything was new and had what we needed. The bed is very comfortable and it was such a treat to watch the sun rise and set each day from our window. I was a bit sad that the construction on the new spa hadn’t been completed because I saw on the website that they were anticipating the spa to be done by August. Not a big deal, we’ll just have to come back again!

Dining at the hotel was great! Breakfast service at the Louiza restaurant has a good variety of cafe and made-to-order options. We also did the Afternoon Tea and had dinner at the Fairview Bar & Restaurant (both are at the same location). The food and the flavor pairings were so uniquely delicious! I have to give HUGE compliments to Michael from Afternoon Tea, and Rex from dinner service. Both of these gentlemen provided TOP NOTCH service and our dining experiences were superb because of them. They made our engagement feel extra special!

10/10 experience and we cannot wait to return here for our anniversary! Thank you for the memories, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise! ♥️

Mmaakhi was amazing with the mixology class! Phenomenal all around from check in to golden fairmont experience.

Everyone was so lovely and made each part an experience. Georgie at checkin. Sonya at high tea and Mmakhi’s mixology class is a must! Even if you don’t do the class, go see him at the bar at Fairview! Incredible experience.

Excellent location overlooking the turquoise waters of Lake Louise and the glacier. We got a room facing the lake and enjoyed the views. All the restaurants faced the lake and were a wonderful experience. The trails around the hotel were clean and enjoyed nice walks and hikes. Trails to neighboring lakes were also accessible and of varying lengths.

We had paid for a premium view and were not disappointed. On top of all of that, the service that we received from the staff was exceptional. The next day we stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs and were able to clearly see a difference where Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise was head and shoulders above the rest. I wish we had booked more than 1 night at this resort.

We had a lovely time here. We felt so pampered, the scenery exquisite, serving unbeatable and people delightful.

Smitty was the best! He took care of us when we had an issue with our dirty sheets. He was absolutely amazing!!
