We went for the afternoon High Tea, and it was a wonderful experience. There is no way you can beat the view of Lake Louise and the mountains from the window table that we had. Everyone from the servers to the hostess were excellent.

A great afternoon tea experience for any special occasion ... overlooking Lake Louise would be a difficult backdrop to beat

Service is always impeccable and the experience still feels quite special. The afternoon tea offering needs a refresh though. Scones and preserves are consistently amazing - sadly the sandwiches were dry, like they'd been sitting in the air for several hours, and some of the desserts were actually unpleasant. Would bring back the fruit salad to lighten up the meal.

This was our first time trying out the afternoon tea service at the Chateau Lake Louise and I must say we were very pleasantly surprised at the service standards even compared to other Fairmont Hotels in the Banff Region, Our Host Chloe was welcoming and had our coats taken care of immediately and found us seating with a view of the lake, We also were sparkled by our server Emily who took great care of us, We had mentioned to her that we really loved the Deviled Eggs and the Chicken Croissant and she made a conscious effort to bring us some extras so that we may savour our favorite parts of the afternoon tea. Finally we had a chance to talk with Kate who was the Tea sommelier, she had heard from our server that we enjoy tea and have dined at the Banff Springs hotel before so came around to say hello ask about our experience and also give us a little insight to some exciting new changes and additions coming later this year. The entire experience left us craving for more and we cannot emphasize how much we look forward to coming back and having Emily as our server again! We have definitely found our favorite service staff at CLL.

A lovely Mother's Day afternoon tea in wonderful surroundings. The views are stunning especially as we were lucky enough to see the lake covered in snow and the skies were clear blue with warm sunshine, just perfect a day to remember

The afternoon tea at the Fairmont Lake Louise in the Fairview Room was a delightful way to celebrate my moms birthday. Our server Ross was very knowledgeable, personable and attentive to detail. Would recommend to anyone who wants a little treat and to get a taste of luxury.

By far, the worst afternoon tea I've ever had and I urge you to take your business elsewhere. 1) We made a reservation in advance of our Banff trip and we were seated in front of a wall. 2) Service was painfully slow. Took ages to place our order, receive drinks, food, and the bill. 3) Worst of all was the food. I had the vegan afternoon tea, if you can even call it that. Lazy and bland are the only words that come to mind. For the savory items, you have melon, tomatoes in a bowl, chopped potatoes on an endive leaf, and a hummus and cucumber sandwich that tastes like absolutely nothing. The "scones" and dessert items were once again bland, chewy, and tough to even cut/bite into. Husband had the regular afternoon tea which was also terrible. With tip, our total was $328 plus an additional $40 for parking. You're paying for the name, and the name only, for this establishment. Speaking of the establishment, the interior is extremely outdated and rather dingy feeling. Biggest waste of time and money.

We came for a small bite to eat after checking in at the hotel and to enjoy a bottle of wine.

Alex, our server, was amazing! Such a great service, he was super friendly, kind and chatty, he definitely made the experience even better.

I totally loved the bison tartare, it was delicious!!! We also had some scallops, that were also tasty but the bison was the best. Drinks were lovely!

The restaurant is classy and cute at the same time with amazing views of the lake.

Banff was our first trip with my child, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This is a place we might visit every year. The atmosphere, the views, the kindness, and the food were all great.

Enjoyed an excellent steak with sides and the Nutella bar dessert was very good
I asked for an old fashioned and it was my favourite (I had two!) Kevin was very helpful and attentive.

It's great to see Lake Louise.
It was worth the money.
I ordered the most basic afternoon tea menu, and although the tea was delicious, I had leftover food because it was too sweet.

The afternoon tea was a disappointment. Despite asking twice, we waited an excruciatingly long time to be served. The food was merely average, and the decor was outdated and sad. The wait staff seemed discriminating as they were rude to us but nice to others. Overall, the experience was overpriced and far from enjoyable.

The waiters appear to be rushed, barely taking the time to listen to your questions or respond appropriately.

Being able to enjoy a delicious meal with a perfect view of Lake Louise and the mountains really added to our overall experience.

We had the Burrata, the Bison Tartar, the AAA Angus Beef Tenderloin (medium rare was cooked perfectly), Sorbet & Lemon Tart…
For drinks, we had wine, Espresso Martini’s & the Fresco Cocktail.

Everything was delicious. Portion sizes were good. The drinks were tasty! The Bison Tartar was the most noteworthy! It’s made table-side which is a pleasant experience.

They were alert to allergies that we had at our table and gladly accommodated.

Parking: There is paid parking available when having made a reservation at this restaurant and also valet parking for a surplus.

We did the Mountain Mixology Class with Tom and had an amazing time! Tom was super knowledgeable about cocktail making but never made us feel dumb. The cocktails he whipped up were spectacular; I have never liked a Campari-based drink until Tom taught us to make a gin-champagne-Campari sour! I can’t believe this was included with our stay. A true highlight!
