We had an incredible welcome to lake Louise lunch here. We ordered the French onion soup & the Tomato/lentil soup special. The staff were so lovely, the vibe was cozy & very Canadian. Would recommend a stop in!
Had a wonderful experience. We actually arrived an hour after our reservation - due to mixup in time zones. They graciously accommodated us. The atmosphere was fantastic. As the name implies, the restaurant is in the building of what was the Old train station. It has plenty of memorabilia. I had heard it had a photo of John Barrymore, and asked to see it because his family - the Drew's - are distantly related. They found the photo, attached.

Atmosphere was nice, had the fireplace going which gave it a nice ambiance during our lunch.
Wife had bison burger, which was a bit over cooked. I had the chicken sandwich which was really good, it was lightly breaded which I liked .
