We made a reservation for lunch and were happy to find free parking at the public lot. We were given a window table with mountain views, which was lovely. The service and food were excellent. It is expensive, but this is a world-class resort, so worth it for a splurge. We went saw the amazing ice sculptures and went skating on the lake afterwards. We'll be back!

Extremely disappointing experience and not what I expect from a Fairmont property.
I called to book a reservation at the Lakeview Restaurant and was instead booked at Fairview without being told this was a fixed high-tea service. And no where on the website does it say it’s high tea. This was never disclosed during the phone reservation either.
When we arrived and realized the error, we were told there was “nothing that could be done” and that a manager would come speak with us. No manager ever came. There was no follow-up, no apology, and no attempt at compensation—just an air of indifference.
As a result, six healthcare workers were forced to pay significantly more than planned for a high tea experience we neither wanted nor agreed to.
This is particularly disappointing because this meal has been an annual tradition for us, something we have done year after year at Lake Louise. Based on this experience, we will not be returning.
Mistakes happen. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic customer care is what makes this unacceptable.

Our entire meal (appetizers and mains) was absolutely delicious - also very creative and beautifully presented. Service was impeccable.

Service, view and food are all excellent. The prices are high. I had the walleye fish and chips which came with a side salad. The chips were ok, the salad dressing was really good but the fish was wow! Massive piece which we could have easily shared and been satisfied. It was too much for me. My husband had the beef dip. Loved the bread but wished the beef was more shredded. The staff is lovely and the view, ambience are wonderful.

We had lunch at the Lakeview Restaurant at Lake Louise and were seated by the window, the view over the lake was absolutely stunning and really made the experience. The food was overall okay; the beef rib dip was a little dry, but the Caesar salad was very good and nicely prepared tableside, which was a lovely touch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. While the food was solid, the breathtaking lake view is definitely the highlight. A great spot for a scenic lunch at Lake Louise.

Basically paying for the views. The absurd pricing for the quality of food provided is absolutely crazy. Canmore and Banff definitely have better chefs and taste then this restaurant. Coffee was served cold twice, to have poor coffee for the price and location also is an indication of poor hospitality.

The food was unimpressive. The Christmas special of hot turkey sandwich was almost disgusting. Came with no gravy or cranberry, the turkey meat was so obviously just out of a can and not even drained properly, grilled to dry out around the edges and make them tough. It was one layer of bread, and a weird handful of mixed arugula thrown on top. We didn't say much as it was Christmas eve, but if ever again we would have returned it. The squash soup was good. The service was pretty good.
