We were lucky enough to stay here as part of our tour and decided to have dinner here. From the moment we were shown to our table, our server Asher was there to make sure we had everything we needed.
We had the fondue experience and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Asher was attentive without being obtrusive and super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed chatting to him.

Everything about the Walliser Stube was amazing! The fondue and steak were incredible and the views are lovely. Staff were extremely kind and friendly, especially our waiter Asher. Will absolutely look forward to coming back someday!

We had the most wonderful time celebrating my friend’s birthday at Walliser Stube last night with our most wonderful and engaging server, Asher .

Asher made the day extra special for my friend, promising to sing and dance for her and he did not disappoint.

We ordered the Chateau Experience - 3 Course Menu since that involves very little thinking (and it’s a pretty good deal from the à la carte!) apparently many things like veggies, breads, etc. are replenish-able but the first-round portions are plentiful such that we can’t fit anymore into our belly.

A must do while you are in Lake Louise especially when the weather is still a chilly so you may take in the lovely view while enjoying delicious food.

Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality, Asher!

Thank you Nic for a warm welcome! Recommend the chateau fondue experience - free vegetables refill until you run out of cheese!

Don't skip the 'Chateau Experience' menu. We were craving fondue and it exceeded expectations. Friendly staff and stunning view also. Perfect ending to our family ski vacation.

Gorgeous views paired with an elevated dining experience

Service is impeccable but food is middling, especially when considering the price

The 3 course Chateau experience was amazing. We were blown away by the food and we loved the cosy atmosphere. Zedenek and Evie were incredible and we would come back for the service alone. 10/10 recommend!!

We came for my birthday dinner, it was a Friday evening and the place was not so busy. We were greeted pleasantly and escorted to our table.

I really enjoyed the food, we ordered á la carte as the set menu seemed a bit too much food for us. We started with the charcuterie board, followed by the steak and the trout, both were very tasty! I loved the mash potatoes and the creamy foam over the asparagus. The trout was so fresh, that was a big hit as well.

Sommelier and server were friendly, the only mishap of the evening was that the server was pouring big glasses of wine, not really a way to enjoy a vintage wine. Sommelier brought new glasses and a decanter, our server apologized many times, but overall his services was great.

Although we said we didn’t want dessert as neither one of us eats sweets, it was very kind of them bringing a small platter with a happy birthday note, we did indulge in them and I was very happy we did.

The price is high, but it was really yummy food! The portion sizes were great too, especially for a fancy restaurant. Great place to spend our anniversary!

Restaurant located in the sumptuous Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise.
We ate very well and enjoyed the chocolate fondue for dessert.
A big thank you to the Quebec waiter who was able to advise us throughout the meal, in French. Which unfortunately was not the case with the oenologist who curtly replied that if we did not speak English, he could not help us. An inappropriate response when you find yourself in this internationally renowned hotel.
Negative point: $40 parking for a dinner of around 2 hours.

Our dining experience was amazing. The views and staff were great. I had the beef tenderloin and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Could cut beef with a butter knife. So tender. My husband had the bone in veal Wienerschnitzel. He said best he’s had since he was in Germany.

We took takeout, and the experience was not pleasant. A roast beef wrap that had a lot of fat, inedible... it really made us sick. Furthermore, despite buying food, they do not allow you to use the bathroom, they are closed, only if you are in the hotel, regardless of whether you use the take away service. Of course they ask you for a tip... and being a takeaway the service is minimal or non-existent... only when paying and even more so if they don't even allow you to go to the service or use the Wi-Fi network.
