The gondola and this bistro were phenomenal! The Devils Thumb Martini was just as beautiful as it was delicious. Every dish we had was amazing - bistro greens, sable fish, and prawns. So glad we came here!

Stopped in here to wait out a storm after taking the gondola up. Ended up having the Thai Curry Mussels and fries and the Cioppino. Absolutely amazing. My kids (ages 6 and 8) who live off of anything that isn't seafood devoured both. Extremely impressed all around. The view, the service and the food. All well worth it!!

Beautiful views, food, and service. Thank you to our server, Cristina, who saw us taking photos outside and wandered out to grab a picture of me and my husband.

Good food as always. Rained an hour ago, so they aren’t seating outside for food on the “most scenic patio” even though it’s sunny now and there will be no more rain. People coming from around the world for these experiences and staff can’t be bothered to adapt to improved weather to make people happy. Group in front asked for patio. No dice. We asked for patio. No dice. Seemed annoyed that I asked. Classic Louise, year after year - best terrain (skiing) and views anywhere but just can’t get the guest experience handled. Could be world-class but can’t quite figure it out.

Friends - forget about the chateau and a canoe take a gondola or chair lift up to Whitehorn bistro. You will get upscale friendly service without all the drama and lines. Look at my photo of the charcuterie, now add in the views. Don’t be worried the parking lot was incredibly full, but no one is telling the visitors except me that the bistro is the best. We literally had to walk from the last parking lot but we’re one of 5 tables on the patio!!!

Beautiful location. Our server, Maya, was great. The views are spectacular.
We (4 of us) shared a charcuterie board. Not the cheapest place to eat but food was good and the views are the best!

We came as a group of 7 adults and 1 child. The food was okay—nothing special, but decent overall. What really surprised us was that the waiter added a $40 tip to each of the three checks, totaling $120. For one waiter at a casual, not fancy restaurant, that felt way too much. We understand that gratuity is often added for larger groups, but this amount seemed excessive for the type of service and setting. It would have been better if it was discussed with us first or at least more in line with the experience.

Triple checked meal was gluten free for coeliac, the kitchen confirmed it was when it was not. Do not recommend for people with allergies.

One of the best on mountain dining experiences you will have in North america. Although I'm still disappointed that the Canadian government won't allow high-end restaurants to serve a hamburger medium rare. One could buy the same ground beef at the local supermarket and cook it rare yourself, but a restaurant is not allowed to, I find that very very strange.
