Waited at least 30 minutes before a waiter showed up at the table. Ordered chicken wings and shrimp tacos. All the food came from a box nothing was prepared. Wings over cooked dry and no salt or pepper. Tacos looked okay but tasted terrible. The owner should really shut down the food section and only serve alcohol because the food is absolutely terrible. Will definitely not recommend this to anyone else. Please close down your section it's a robbery to charge someone for the food that you serve.

Had an amazing time at Bar one! The atmosphere is lively, with great music and a fantastic selection of drinks. What really made the experience special, though, was Ruby—she’s an absolute gem. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, Ruby made sure we had everything we needed and more. Her service really elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend this place, and definitely ask for Ruby when you visit!

For a small pub in a hotel, I always expect mediocrity however this was simply awful. A staff member was in the lounge for maybe a total of 20 minutes the entire hour or so I was in there. While I was looking at the menu (which is fairly uninteresting at best) the gentleman at the bar next to me was eating a pasta dish, the waitress asked how his food was and without batting an eye he said "well it tastes like it's been microwaved", to the credit of the wait staff they immediately offered to get him a new plate which he graciously declined... I now understand why.
I ordered the jalapeno kicker burger with poutine... There was no kick to the burger, I'm not certain they even seasoned it, bun was not toasted loads of fillings but not much on the meat side of a burger. The poutine was 100% microwaved, the fries were soggy and the cheese was plasticky (hence the microwave) and the tablespoon of gravy that was poured overtop definitely came from a packet (no color, no taste). Also my burger was served on a side plate, lonely looking and the poutine was served in a soup bowl, also lonely looking.
I struggle with this whole concept because it's the same kitchen as Denny's (which is a long shot from a great restaurant but still leaps and bounds better than the meal I just had)... Why not share the same menu?
I wrote this review whilst waiting for the waitress to come back into the lounge... I don't know if she's working both Denny's and the lounge or what but she is clearly distracted from watching her post at the bar.
They need to step up their game honestly.

Do not order Skip from here . Brutal portions and 1/3 of in house . 67 $ for garbage . Chicken bowl / sandwich wirh my 3.50$ add onion rings all 4 of them
