This place doesn't get the credit it deserves. but it's a hidden Gem in the Hat! Highly recommend for groups friends/ get togethers!!

Great little locally owned pub with good food. With an attached bakery, they have a little something for everyone, including vegan, gluten-free options. The owners are always happy to help and make it a lovely small town atmosphere. I believe the drinks are the most reasonable in town :))
Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan brushetta, onion rings, beyond burger, and of course, french fries.

I just got back from Dee’s Baked Goods/Dee-Jay’s Pub hosting The Medicine Hat Community Lions Annual Christmas Party. They are absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them enough! The service and food were outstanding. They provided us with a full turkey dinner! It was Christmas! We had a great time. Please drop by and visit them.

I look at Dee-Jays as the ‘Cheers’ of Medicine Hat. Always friendly, they all treat you like family, AMAZING food at reasonable prices and don’t even get me started on Dee’s bakery next door! MUST HAVE is her “Cuban Lunch” Chocolate Bar!! HOLY WOW… it simply tastes like MORE!

Literally 2 people do EVERYTHING here. 100% locally owned and operated. Every is made in house. From tartar sauce to buns. EVERYTHING. I recommend the peanut butter bacon egg burger. Yes, sounds weird. Do it!! It works!!

100% the best Monte Christo I have ever had. The owners/staff are super friendly and make your experience feel welcoming. If you are looking for a meal that tastes good (very rare in restaurants these days), this is the place to eat. You will be happy as you got a great meal in your belly and were treated well, Yes.
