“The staff is absolutely amazing with children! Kamal and his brother are so attentive and affectionate; they truly go above and beyond to make sure kids feel special. They even surprised my son with a free ice cream! The highlight of our visit was when my son insisted on eating 'restaurant food,' even though I had brought his own meal in a container. Kamal and his brother kindly put his food onto a restaurant plate and served it just like a regular order so he’d feel like a 'grown-up.' He was so happy that he ate every single bite! On top of the incredible service, the food is always amazing! Every dish looks as good as it tastes, with beautiful presentation and great flavor. It is truly a local gem.”

“We were visiting our son for Christmas I made reservations for the 23rd for your festive dinner! The dinner was one of the best we have had in a long time. Between the crab cakes and beef tenderloin and awesome dessert we were blown away. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff . The atmosphere is quiet and rustic . We quite enjoyed ourselves. Thank you . “had the alfredo chicken and i'm very picky where i eat chicken from and it was absolutely delicious, and i had also ordered a chicken wrap as well for the next day and again had sp much flavor, a lil kick of spice but nothing overboard and i'd def recommend trying this place out. i was also able to bring some ice cream home as well so bonus! the prices are more than reasonable,and that alfredo pasta blew me away and i'm a tough critic especially eating out and more so on take out! 5 stars 🌟 here”

Our server more than made up for the having to get the manager to determine if we could be accommodated. Our server Michael was friendly, good sense of humour and very professional! He actually made our experience at The Keg better. The food was delicious and I loved the fact that we had time between the starters and main course ….. So thanks to our server and the chefs for a lovely meal with our UK visitors 🥰”

“Love this place! I have a severe food allergy and need to get my sauces for the grill poured on from the back to avoid cross contamination. They not only ensure my food safety but they also remember my allergy despite only getting in their every couple months. Unfortunately they stopped their lunch buffet during covid so I don’t get there as often as I’d like.”

The food always arrives hot and fresh and the prices are often half of what you would pay elsewhere, yet the quality is just as good if not better. When the pandemic hit many places raised their prices and never lowered them, but not this one. My order today was twenty seven dollars while nearby restaurants would have charged nearly sixty for the same meal. The quality does not suffer at all. Sometimes the saying you get what you pay for does not apply. Some businesses manage to make a fair profit while keeping things reasonable for their customers and this is one of those places.

“The new layout of the restaurant is a big improvement—much more spacious than before. There's now plenty of room between tables, making it easy to move chairs back and forth without bumping into anything. It feels much more comfortable and relaxed. A great change that really enhances the dining experience!”

Manager brought out the dishes , friendly courteous, left then came back moments later to say here is more fries that just came out of the fryer. I recommend them highly. It’s one of our go-to restaurants to get consistent service and quality.”

We happen to be in the Hat for hockey and were starving for lunch. We stopped by the trusty restaurant with our coupons in hand. Mailed to our home sometime over the last couple weeks.
We were pleasantly surprised at the order station that the #CalgaryFlames were playing that night and Mama Burger meals were $7 because of it!!
We all had the same thing and an order of delicious onion rings. 😋”

I’m not a fan of chicken, however I had 2 pieces, 1 each of the original + spicy flavours, both were crispy & tasty. The honey butter biscuit is delicious & the jalapeno poppers with dipping sauce is yummy. Great Job ⭐️”

They froze our cheesecakes so well, the handled the trip back to Montana very well. Most importantly, everyone we served slices to LOVED their cheesecakes!! “Party of 3 people, when we got there the place was empty. So we had our choice of seating, LOL. Waitress was very friendly, and helpful. All of us had the ribs, with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The food was amazing, great taste, and literally fell off the bone. Everything was hot and fresh. Had the Sticky Toffee Pudding for desert. It also was delicious. Oh, and by now the place was filling up with clientele and I guess we were early for supper. We will be back.....”

“Ordered skip for dinner and I usually keep my expectations pretty low. But I’m from out of town and wasn’t up for sitting in the restaurant. Ordered the chicken quesadilla which I didn’t even know was a menu item and it was delicious! Hot and crispy. So much flavour! Packed nicely and was given a generous amount of napkins and condiments which was nice since I was in a hotel. Very good meal which I don’t see often travelling while ordering in. Thanks!”
