Hell's Basement Brewery Inc.

Stopped by to pick up some beers — really affordable and surprisingly good! Great local spot for quality craft brews at a great price.

We were visiting Medicine Hat for only a couple of days and wanted to hit up some breweries before we headed home to Ontario. Hell's Basement was the only brewery open on a Monday. It was well set up with lots of options. The decor was entertaining to look at and great conversation starters. The beer was good. The patio was comfortable.

Coffee ale light & beautiful aroma! Cherry lime ale light & slightly sweet.

The service here is amazing. Highly encourage anyone to visit, if you're ever in the area pop in. I will be back and I will be sharing this spot with my friends

Service is top notch and the beer barista was extremely knowledgeable. The brews are by far my favourite!

Fantastic beers and a cool atmosphere.

Whoever was working today was very unfriendly and we just did not enjoy our time there. No smile, no offer to suggest what would suit our tastes. Terrible service.

Excellent local brewery with exception service, drinks and food.

This is a new style business in the hat. Hells Basement is mainly a producer of beer and a few other products.Tasting is available on site of any if their own recipes as well as well as micro batches like HOG(Harley Owners Group).They made a killer hard tea that is worth a try if you ain’t a beer fan ir don’t feel like draught beer ATM.As this IS a full brewery, as I understand, they cannot both produce booze and be a full pub. So they have a tasting area where you and friends can try their beers in a fun my-style atmosphere.They also cannot serve food, so don’t complain. It a legal thing. Just eat some place else first.This is a but if a hidden gem so I do not want to extol all of its virtues. But this joint is worth a try.It’s a beer connoisseur heaven. And there are enough other drinks for non beer lovers.They close early (normally 7pm) but a lot of groups operate get togethers here.Very fun place, very much witty a try if you are looking for a new atmosphere.Just eat somewhere wise first or please do not complain to the very friendly waitresses.

Amazing brewery in medicine hat!!

I love this place. The beer is excellent; many great standard beers and a cool selection of more unique brews. Kids are allowed, you can bring in your own food, and there is a great selection of board games to play. The staff is friendly and helpful and you often see the owners having a pint and giving personal tours. I love a long afternoon of sampling beers and playing different board games with old and new friends!
