This hotel is currently quite cheap and it is reflected in the state of the hotel. The rooms was outdated and in need of a complete renovation - half broken bed, marks and scuffs everywhere, poor carpet condition, non functional outlets, and barely working keycard readers. Despite this, the housekeeping did a good job and the room was clean. This property needs massive renovations to reach the level of other Wyndham Garden properties I have stayed in, at present it is more like a Travelodge.

I would like to express my frustration with bad customer service. First of all, no proper greeting was done over the phone. This should be done by providing the hotel's name and the front desk's name. I missed a call this morning and no voicemail was left. I called back and the " front desk by the name of "simer"" said my name. He needs my credit card information. With all the scam calls that we receive daily, he should've started with a proper introduction. Second, he has given me a "30-minute" timeframe. He said give me a call within 30 minutes or I will cancel your reservation. Medicine hat has numerous hotels and I felt so pressed with me knowing I have so many options. This is an opportunity to coach or teach the front desk professionalism and proper relay of information. I am going to stay that was rude and not the way you treat your incoming guests.

I stayed two nights with my husband and dog. The reception not bad, but the room was dirty, I found a dead ant and an endless number of hairs on the bed and pillow. At the entrance I was informed that I would have to pay $25 per night for my dog, I thought they cleaned the room every day for hair, but no. The room was cleaned only when we left. I asked at the front desk what I paid that money for and the answer was that it was the hotel's policy. I then talked to a manager who gave me an email address to which I wrote asking the same question again. To date, 3 days after sending the email, I have had no response. The seriousness of this hotel does not exist!!! I paid on the day of return home, of course, I had no choice. But I do not find it correct to have had to pay a tot per day for no service, not even cleaning!!! If you want to go there with your dog, don't!!!

What a great place to stay! We were put on the 3rd floor. Our room was spacious and very clean. We were allowed to check in about 20 minutes early. Hubby had Supper at the Restaurant of Hotel, which featured Indian Cuisine. He had Chicken Biryani, Coconut Naan, and a couple of beers. A big shout out to the young man working in the restaurant. He provided stellar service, and had an excellent work ethic. We arrived late to Breakfast (9:15 a.m.), but the woman cleaning up allowed us to grab some cereal, sausage, eggs and hash browns. Overall, our floor was really quite. There were some renovations going on down the end of the hall, but we didn't hear a thing until after 9 a.m.

While traveling from Bc to Mb we wanted to stay at the Wyndham conference centre with the casino. We called to confirm this location had the casino. The new staff member Mr Singh said he didn’t know but would ask. He told us yes. So we booked online with Expedia at a rate of $290 for ONE night. Once getting there the hotel was clearly not the casino location. It’s in a rough neighborhood and under construction. I went inside to say I had called and got the wrong information. The manager call Singh and gave him grief about telling me the wrong answer about the casino. The manager then said I was told the casino was 900 m away and that he couldn’t refund my money. He said I should have looked on the website so it was my fault and that I because booked with Expedia so he can’t do anything about it. He was very rude and refused to cooperate. I called Expedia and was told they can’t refund without manger approval. Therefore I was lied to again by that manager. This hotel took zero responsibility on their staff giving me the wrong information then refused to authorize a refund. Don’t trust this hotel and their rude manger. We just kept driving and slept in our truck at the cost of $290

The worst place I've ever stayed! Didn't matter that they were under renovations but it was FILTHY !!! We wiped down everything in our room before doing anything. At least the beds seemed cleaned and were comfortable. Their breakfast area was disorganized, chairs were filthy and the room had stale air in it. I was visiting from Ontario and picked up my sis in High River, went straight to SK border then back to Medicine Hat so was too tired to switch hotels. We were only there to sleep but will NEVER stay here again. Certainly not up to Wyndham standards! So disappointed!

Looks like new renovation,200deposit each room. But mattress feel old, feel itch whole night even wear long sleeping wear.

Recently rebranded and under new management again. 1. Fitted sheet is all you got. Had to sleep directly under the duvet that likely gets washed once a year? 2. Bed box was 4 planks. Still have back ache. 3. Had hang to hang black out curtain as it was hanging from 2 hooks only 4. The fire exit stairs were carpeted over. 5. The main doors were kept open at night and no permanent front desk personnel present 6. Checked out after 10min at 545 am leaving a written note 7. Get a paid breakfast elsewhere.

The service from Simarjeet at the front was excellent by mistake I double booked and mistakenly booked for too many days. Simarjeet took care of the whole mess for me. Top notch service. This is my second stay at the Wyndham Garden and will not be my last, great place with great staff. Great value for the price

I stayed at Wyndham garden Medicine Hat this hotel is really very beautiful and had a good location. I am living here for month I enjoy breakfast specially front desk guy simarjeet is friendly and supportive. I hope he had a great future thank you wyndham garden for making me comfortable living.

My daughter and I had a very enjoyable time together. We had reserved a suite and found it to be clean and spacious. It was very reasonably priced too. The staff was friendly & helpful. We ate at the restaurant and had the wing & beer special which we really enjoyed. In fact we went twice & enjoyed the wings again. Although this hotel was being renovated at the time, we were not disturbed with any noice. We would stay again. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub
