Local treasures like Hometown are what give a city character (and flavour!) and the Hat is lucky to have this little gem! Absolutely gourmet dining, reasonable prices, friendly service, great vibe… not to mention the charitable nature of the business. Finally got a chance to check out this restaurant and I was not disappointed! The restaurant is very beautifully decorated creating a nice welcoming vibe. I had the corn chowder soup and the Caesar salad and it was delicious. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and the features. Overall a fabulous experience and I highly recommend to check out this gem in Medicine Hat!

My family and I travel to medicine hat quite often as my in-laws have roots there. Whenever we get down in the neck the woods, we always try to check out cool and unique places to. Luckily, this was one of them and we were not disappointed such a cool vibe awesome atmosphere great service & the food is really good as well. Won’t be the last time we visit hometown (squared.) 😏

This is a diamond in Medicine Hat. The atmosphere and drinks were amazing. Hugo, case and brook kicked butt making sure I was happy and had anything I wanted.
If you are in Medicine Hat you have to come here. It’s literally a 5 star restaurant in 2 star city. It’s mind blowing. But you have to come here. Get the dumb Y drive (no uber) and get your butt there.

What a lovely place! on our way home to Kelowna. A little hidden gem, food was great, very clean, excellent service! Would recommend. My only suggestion was the music was dated. :) or maybe chose a no vocals music only. The music level was very good so you could chat.

Very disappointed is an understatement ! On August 9th we decided to take a family member 85 birthday to someplace special. Reading the reviews she chose this restaurant. There were seven of us. Each person ordered something different. Only the salmon dinner was decent. Uncooked stuffed pasta with scant sauce. Asked for it to be cooked. They merely reheated it under a broiler so it dried out and made even more unpalatable. The burger bun was stale with two pieces of meat. No sauce of any kind. I could go on and list each dish that was improperly prepared. Suffice it to say, that it was not the special occasion meals we anticipated. She was embarrassed that we paid such expensive prices for poor quality food at her suggestion.

Inconspicuous from the outside...Fantastic food on the inside. After starting out the day in Kenora Ontario we found this gem across from the train station in time for dinner. I tried the classic Ceasar salad with chicken and the chicken was so tender and the salad very favorable. The rest of the family tried the burger which was fantastic I'm told. Very friendly staff and quick service. I would recommend trying Hometown when you get the chance.
