I’ve visited this charming cafe many times. The food is always wonderfully prepared and fresh, the coffee is decent and quickly refilled. It’s a great place for our book club to meet or for me and a friend to have a quiet lunch. The artwork spread throughout is local and wonderful to buy for something new at home, or as a gift for a dear friend.

We love their meat pies! Since we live in Edmonton we will stock up when we are in Medicine Hat to bring some home to enjoy later.

If a sweet tooth is something you need to satisfy, surrounded by a unique atmosphere of art. This is the place to indulge. The owners are personable and you will feel right at home.

We went for lunch..it was very good as usual. The service is always good. We will continue to go there for lunches as prices are also reasonable.

Very nice place for a light lunch. The sparkling rhubarb lemonade was tart and flavorful. Broccoli soup was creamy and seasoned perfectly. I also had a shortbread cookie, tasted like Christmas. The staff was friendly and attentive. I’m looking forward to trying more food on my next visit.

We ordered two Cuban Panini’s, one with a side caesar salad the other with the soup of the day along with two desserts. At a price of $35.00, we were very disappointed with the meals themselves. The sandwich, a pressed kaiser, was thick, hard and bone dry enveloping the disproportionate two wafer thin slices of meat. There was absolutely no evidence or flavor of mojo-pork, and if there was a slice of Swiss cheese then it too was as thin as the meat as we didn’t see or taste it. There was merely the taste of a pickle. The caesar salad and soup were okay, mediocre at best for what we thought from the reviews would be delicious “homestyle cooking.” We tried it, but we won’t be returning.

Great service and amazing breakfast. I really liked the home made jam. Everything was so good!
