Really great drip coffee, latte, and the Honey-Co latte was excellent. Apple crisp was outstanding. Place was quite busy but staff handled it well and were very friendly. We came in both days on our getaway in MedHat. Definitely...Check it out 👍👍

Amazing Coffee Shop! I’ve visited three times and the staff have always been so friendly. The shop is clean, bright and decorated very nicely. The iced pistachio butter coffee is absolutely my favourite cup of coffee I’ve ever purchased from a coffee shop. It is insanely good! The quality of their coffee beans is impeccable.

Husband and I stopped at Poolhouse on impulse during our cross-Canada roadtrip. We could not have been more impressed! Staff was incredibly friendly, store was clean and aesthetically beautiful (with a really cool bean grinder viewing window featured as part of the style), and the food/drinks were PHENOMENAL. 10/10, we may be coming back to Medicine Hat for this alone.

The breaky sandwich was probably my favorite sandwich I've ever eaten in my life.

Caught my eye

As a new resident exploring local coffee shops, I’ve found Poolhouse Coffee to be the standout. Their coffee is the best I’ve tasted; bold, smooth, and consistently excellent. The food is delicious, with fresh options that hit the spot. The service is quick, friendly, and makes you feel welcome. Poolhouse is a must-try for anyone looking for a great coffee spot!

I’m a self proclaimed coffee snob, and this was one of the best cups I’ve ever had.

Poolhouse Cafe & Roastery is a lovely, sleek, modern and cleanly designed cafe and bakery. They have loads of coffee and tea drinks and delicious bakery treats. The service was friendly and efficient and my drink was brought to our table.

We had the mint Nanaimo bar, which was huge, but a bit too sweet and the oat bar, which was absolutely killer: gooey, crispy with oats, and rich and chocolaty. It was honestly one of the best treats I have ever had in a bakery. I would definitely come back for it. I had a matcha latte on ice as well, but there are lots of options.

All in all, a trendy, clean, great local cafe, that is lovely to have a cup of coffee and a freshly baked treat at!

We've have traveled the world, exploring trendy coffee shops everywhere we go, and honestly, this is ranked as one of the most beautiful and high quality drinks anywhere we've been! The atmosphere is cozy, yet modern, with big bright windows allowing the Medicine Hat sunshine to filter through. And the cappuccinos we had were perfect! Well done, guys! Medicine Hat should be proud to have places like this in their city, and we are happy to stop in when in town to visit family :)
