Amazing place, with a great atmosphere. Very friendly staff and super tasty food and drinks! This place is definitely the heartbeat of downtown, the owners are salt of the earth people and they support and give back to their community!

seen them doing an interview where they threw the ladies resume out in front of them. such poor professionalism.

This place is amazing for a bunch of different reasons. The roastery has the best beans to buy to make coffee options at home. Many people ship it out to friends and family and it's tough to find better coffee anywhere. Great food options and the scones and chia pudding are 10/10 every time. You need to go come here and check it out for yourself. Staff are top shelf as well.

So straight up, I’m not a hot drink guy. I typically only ever go for blended ice drinks. But I decided to try one of the drinks on their Christmas menu, and I must say that the Nutella Mocha was the absolute BEST hot drink I’ve ever tasted!! My family has also been here a couple of times before and they are all very much drink connoisseurs, and they’ve raved about this place as well. I also like the fact that it’s very bright, lots of windows, so a very good atmosphere. Overall, it’s definitely worth the detour to downtown, even for people like us who are from out of town.

Came here at the recommendation of Nicholas from Evangelos Music Store and was very satisfied. Coffee really hit the spot and they suggested a beautiful scenic route to Drumheller for us. Thanks for being around!

THE coffee shop to hit up if you're road tripping. Giving a 4 to balance the 5 STARS the coffee deserves and the ONLY 2 our food deserved. I think some of the pastries are fantastic (ie: blueberry coffee cake muffins!), and cappuccino was EXCELLENT (get the 8oz if eating in 'cause I'm pretty sure it's more than 8 anyway ?), but veg quiche was super bland and avocado toast the worst I've ever had. (Please slice bread thicker, mash FRESH avocados, lose the balsamic (and ideally add lime & cilantro). Got a big chunk of grey-green oxidized avo on mine. Also egg was undercooked on top. And I prefer poached but won't hold that against them.)

Super friendly staff and terrific coffee! A very minor complaint is when my panini was toasted the lettuce became soggy. It didn't stop me from eating it though

This place is pretty much worth all the hype. So cute. The vibe in here is sooo so awesome? I got a Chai frappe to go (drank most of it inside but, iykyk) it was literally amazing. My mom got a London fog and said it was insane. The eclair: she said was on par. There was someone training when we went, which is so so cool. On the job training is the best way forward. Our drinks took like a second longer but what can I say? There was jusy another badass batista in training so... it was also well air-conditioned which was nice. They have outdoor seating as well though for those who prefer sitting outside in the extreme Canadian temperatures. Bonus points: they have alternative milks. Oat and spy only though to be exact!

The coffee was so good, so many options, but if you want good pour overs or americanos they have that too. The staff were so kind and upbeat, never a dumb question if you don’t understand the menu or process. The aesthetic is so clean and fun, makes you feel like you’re on holidays. Do yourself and favour and stop by.

Wow! An amazing transformation of what used to be Tim Horton's downtown. It has a clean, modern look, which is very appealing. I had their London Fog tea and a gluten-free peanut butter cookie; both were very, very good! For those people who are gluten-free, there is an appealing variety of baked goods. ?

Enjoyed their breakfast burrito and cinnamon latte. If you can wait a half hour after they open (Saturday), the first round of happy customers have cleared.

I love the Poolhouse Cafe. Same great coffee as Madhatter but in a fresh package and you can’t beat the space either! <3
