My wife and I first heard about Osmow’s Shawarma from watching the Toronto Raptors games and we were excited to try it. It looked really good and much different from the normal fast food that we have and now we have one in Medicine Hat! We certainly weren’t disappointed! The helpful staff came out from behind the counter to explain how it worked and what everything was.

Now we are Osmow’s Shawarma pros! Osmow is an Egyptian Canadian from Toronto and he has a really great Canadian success story. Read about his journey on the wall art in the store.

My favourite is the chicken shawarma mix of half Caesar salad with pita chips and half rice, with the chicken shawarma. I choose medium spice, garlic sauce and the beautifully pink, pickled turnips. It is incredibly balanced, delicious and just the right amount of spice. Get hot if it is too mild for you (but it is very spicy), or mild if you like less. The mango juice goes great with it and cuts the spice nicely!

They make great wraps that my wife loves too, or get it on fries instead of rice or a Greek salad. A fantastic Canadian alternative to fast food! It’s always fresh, tasty and they make it to order. Clean and tidy restaurant, helpful, friendly staff and great, flavourful food! Check out Osmow’s, you’ll be glad that you tried it and you will be back!

We frequent Osmows often. We were enjoying it until the last 2 times. We ordered 6 baklava only got 5. Then last time I asked for a small order of beef on the rocks, he said don't you want a regular size. I said no small please, he said anything else, I asked for light hot sauce and he waved his hand and said ya ya and didn't enter it on the till. I got home with my order and had no sauce. We really miss the kindness and service we get from the girls. They haven't been there the last couple times at the times we went.

One of the only places to find quality Shawarma in the Hat. Hands down, if you haven't tried it. Do yourself the favor and beware of the hot sauce full of flavor and delicious but it's really hot 🔥

The lady don’t know how you attend customer and how to communicate with us.
So rude man. Never ever visit osmows again

Lots of attention to detail. Explain things well, even though we were unfamiliar with the menu. The wrap was very good!

Parking: Some dedicated spots in front. Adjacent to large supermarket with plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: My two young boys (6-8) loved the crispy
chicken on fries/stix! They finished a large together
