Great homemade lasagna was amazing. Great service. Have to return again
We were there in summer 2024, and loved it (again). We went there the first time in 2019, and have been wanting to visit Medicine Hat again, just to eat here again. Great fresh food, and Roger is wonderful.
Been going here ever since I was little. Every time I’m in Medicine Hat it’s my favourite guilty pleasure. I absolutely love Roger, his cooking, and his restaurant!
My wife and I checked out Pasta-Bilities in Medicine Hat and it is a super cute, little, Italian restaurant run by adorable owners. They make their own fresh pasta by hand and it is super affordable. We had the fresh pasta with tarragon and meatballs, apricot juice, wine and the caramel apple cheesecake. It was all lovely. Roger was a one man show and he was very kind and welcoming.
You can’t beat this spot for an affordable lunch like grandpa and grandma used to make. They are also the parents of Gordie Johnson, of the classic, Canadian, blues rock band, Big Sugar. A couple of Gordies platinum and gold cds are displayed on the wall. We are big fans and have seen him in concert many times and met him before. It was really cool to also meet his dad.
My wife and I, had Roger and Emily, the owners, make us some fresh pasta and she picked it up later. Large, carefully made portions of fresh pasta and super affordable. They also make a wide selection of different types of pasta as well. As they are semi retired, the store is only open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but it is well worth supporting them.
My wife thought that they were absolutely adorable and you can’t get freshly made pasta like that anymore. They also have individual orders of frozen lasagne, meatballs, sauces, etc that you can take home.
No flavour no spice. Bland.

Quaint little restaurant with a sweet gentleman owner. Linguine with tasty meatballs. Decent price and portion. Only downside is tea was lukewarm.
Excellent food and service!!! Roger has been keeping Medicine Hat diners' tummies full for 30+ years! He's always got an interesting story or two to tell us when we're there. Great all around experience, thank you!!
