This place is a gem. The service was top of the line. We had the special which was cod, mussels, prawns over pasta. It is second to none that we have tried on west coast and east coast. Truly amazing experience.

I got takeout for dinner. The seafood pasta was amazing - a bit too much lemon added but was overall savoury and delicious with plenty of seafood. I also tried the banana pie which was just okay to me. I found a hair in it which threw me off.. but I’m sure it was just a one-off event. I will be back for the pasta.

Went here for the first time the other night. Our server, Kerry, made the night so much more amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable with the menu and was able to answer our questions before ordering. She even had photos on her phone to show my kids the food and desserts (they prefer to see what they’re ordering) she had so much patients with us with our questions. She told us everything was made in house which made everything taste so much better. I highly recommend this place. The food was amazing and the place was very clean!!!!

Was lucky to stop by here for dinner during a quick visit to Medicine Hat. We were quite a large party and had no reservation, but were quickly given seats on the beautiful patio area. Sadly, we were in a bit of a rush, but our host, John, couldn't have been more obliging and did everything he could to expedite our orders. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Will definitely be back for a more leisurely meal if I'm ever back in town.Thank you, John!!

We had a fantastic dinner at Rustic Kitchen and Bar last night. My wife, who loves a good steak and has been to many steakhouses across the country for work, said it was the best steak that she has ever had! She had the prime Alberta sirloin, with mushrooms and it was delicious with its compote butter on top. She was still talking about it the next day.
I had the salmon, with its tasty potatoes salad and garlic butter shrimp. We shared the lobster dip and chips for an appetizer, which was crispy, hot, gooey and tasty. I really liked their mandarin orange martini, even though I am not much of a drinker, it was excellent and I definitely would get it again. The chocolate cheesecake was delicious and huge, so we took it home for a treat for the next day.
The restaurant is lovely and homey and warm with its brick and wood interior. It also has a nice patio outside and a bar inside. The severs were very friendly, helpful and nice. We will definitely be back! A really great spot!

Love the Rustic! The short ribs are delicious, and the Brussel sprouts are soo good! So far everything i have had there i enjoyed immensely! It's a little pricey, but definitely well worth it.

Our dinner was outstanding. Everything is made in house. We had the; lobster dip with in house made potato chips, beet and feta spinach salad and the steak, asparagus and delicious cauliflower croquettes with house made ranch dressing. We were impressed with the service, the atmosphere.The staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly. We are here for 3 nights, we have found our spot for the rest of our stay. The restaurant is beautiful.

This was one of THE most fabulous experiences that l've ever had. I ended up eating the seafood fettuccine. This dish was a perfect combination of crab, shrimp, and lobster. The sauce was not overwhelming with a fantastic balance between the pasta and the seafood. I asked to speak to the co-owner who came out from the kitchen and I was able to chat with him and he was a very humble man (Chris ). This restaurant was recommended to us by one of Chris's best friends from Edmonton and it definitely did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Medicine Hat area!
