My husband and I ate at Rustic last night. It was the best restaurant meal we've had for many many years. I had the chef's special which followed a corn theme (appy, main & dessert all had corn as an ingredient). Unusual, creative, and all very yummy. My husband had the beef duo. He's not easily impressed. He was impressed. We will definitely return when we want a special meal. Our only complaint was the restaurant was pretty loud even though it wasn't full. We aren't fans of noisy eating places, but we'll overlook that to return for the amazing food.

Rustic Kitchen is outstanding. I dined there about 4 months ago (I am still thinking about the food!) John is a top notch waiter. Probably one of the best waiters ever. The food was probably the best food in Medicine Hat. I had the duo beef and the short ribs were juicy and perfect. We will be back in the future!

I got pasta which was pretty good. The other person in my party got the lamb, which honestly wasn’t that great for the price we paid. The portions also were not huge . The restaurant was pretty loud inside so not super relaxing. The waitress did a good job tho.

This is one of the best places I have possibly ever eaten! if you're in Medicine Hat you would be doing yourself a major disservice by not trying it out. Great portion sized for a very reasonable price and so so delicious.

Rustic Kitchen and Bar is a hidden gem. From the very first bite, you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put genuine care into every dish. The flavors are outstanding. The portions are generous, easily shareable, or perfect for taking some home to enjoy later. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the portion sizes, the quality of the food, and the service, it’s definitely worth it.
Came here for a Friday evening, sat on the patio and enjoyed a live performance. Food took a LONG time but it was delicious and there was plenty of it. Service wasn't super great but i think they may have been short staffed that night. I don't have a pic of my meal but had roasted chicken with asparagus... a little pricey. Would come again though.
