I'm not understanding all the negative reviews. I'm a very frequent visitor to this location and have been met with friendly to very friendly service, albeit one time.This location can be very busy and by some reviews it sounds to be true. If you don't have 10 minutes to spare, then don't ever go to a Starbucks. It takes time to make drinks, and maybe every vehicle isn't ordering just one drink. Last week was the first time I've ever had to wait over 5 to 10 minutes in their drive thru; 15 minutes, big deal, I love my Sugar Cookie Oat Latte, what can I say!As for staff, they are humans just like you and sometimes you have bad days too. Let's have a little more care and compassion in our dealing with those that are serving us! Just maybe, they will make your day a little brighter if you do the same for them first!Remember service with a smile? Well that goes for us customers as well! It's a funny thing how self-centric we can become at times.

Normal Starbucks fare.Unfortunately they are often out of coffee. Straight, drip coffee. Not unusual for Medicine Hat Starbucks during the summer, not so much in the winter- except here.Don't go in so can't comment on the atmosphere.

They rarely put coffee in their coffee drinks. Every other Starbucks I go to makes the drinks just fine I don't understand the problem if I pay the same amount. Highly disappointed and would not recommend this location to anyone.

Worst service ive received from any starbucks ever went here 2 seperate occasions 1st time we went through the drive through and they somehow messed up my payment and had to refund me and make me pay again the barista completely ignoring us then laughing with a co-worker at the window. The second time we went here we asked for a cold drink to be put in a re useable cup we bought from them they told us they cannot do that and i know for a fact they can then ignored us at the window handed us our drinks in a rather rude manner than she closed the window and had quite an attitude throughout the entire interaction. Also made my drink wrong.

First of all I just want to shout out chante! A barista at this location! She is an amazing human being, not just a great barista. Now I ride a mobility scooter and I got caught in a downpour on my way home. I was desperately trying to get my scooter inside because it is not waterproof! This was the closest place. I came in cold and close to shivering and soaking wet. It was near closing for chante and her coworkers but they welcomed me inside. Chante offered and then made me a tea, a medium too, not a small, and for free!! I must add!! I didn't have a dime or my debit card on me. I just wanna say thank you so much chante and crew for hosting me and giving myself and my scooter a safe haven out of the rain until my grandma could come pick me up! Thank you chante! Thank you Starbucks! I can't afford to consume here, however when I treat myself, it will be at this location even if I have to come from across town! Because I know one thing for sure about the crew at this location! They have heart, and care for their community! Thank you!!

They just 'upgraded' their point of sale machines, which now force you to click through a tip option screen. Starbucks are already very overpriced, but I would go the odd time out of convenience. Tipping has gotten completely out of hand with it's pervasiveness. I won't be buying coffee here anymore. Businesses need to pay employees adequately, or they can unionize; I'm not tipping for a coffee at a drive-through.
