After a lengthy wait and a spilled drink (then had to wait for another one to be made) we finally had our drinks. some great employees there but not today!

No public washroom even customer purchased drink. Its really disappointing me . Its is just decrease the value of brand in front of customers. And zoe was a staff member who refused washroom. Took an 10 min for a drink to serve , even did not notice my drink until one staff member noticed me , waiting .

I always have good service at this location. When I ask about certain ingredients due to allergies they always double check. My kid was unsure about the flavor of a couple of the drinks so the staff made some samples for them. Great staff and great service

I’ve been a loyal customer at the Altawana Starbucks for years, and I’ve always appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. However, since the new management took over this year, things have noticeably changed—and not for the better.
While I understand that new staff are still learning and finding their rhythm, what’s deeply concerning is the behavior of the current manager. On two separate occasions, I’ve witnessed her yelling at employees in front of customers, getting right in their faces, and creating an incredibly uncomfortable environment. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, inappropriate, and downright toxic—especially for new staff who are clearly trying their best.
It’s disappointing to see such poor leadership from someone who should be setting a positive example. The manager’s conduct does not reflect the Starbucks values of respect, support, and community. The team deserves better, and so do us customers. I sincerely hope higher management steps in, because this store has so much potential with the right guidance. Carry Plaza Starbucks will have my business.

This is not the way to treat customers. I clearly said three times that I wanted a sugar-free drink. She took the order and said, “Yes, of course.” In the end, the drink was all sugar. And on top of that, she got upset. Terrible customer service. There should be a zero-star option for service like this.
Always delicious, however it is pricey, and often I have found the price is not worth the behavior of the staff, particularly the one on Strachan road. So, it's a nice treat, but I would avoid that location. The new one by shamrock is very good so far.
