Takumi is an intimate experience with great food, a great host and an amazing chef. I love this place. My new favorite is the Yuzu Chicken Karaage. You will thank me later lol.

Our friend who lives in Medicine Hat said “You HAVE to come here and try this sushi!!Absolute best sushi I’ve had in a very long time. Tiny restaurant with wonderful staff and service!! Really outstanding. Definitely worth driving down from Calgary. Takoyaki was also extraordinary. Pricey, but worth it.

Went here with my fiance for a date night. This is the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to!! Would give 10 starts if I could. I'd even say the best Japanese restaurant in Alberta, the owners were super sweet and you can tell they really care about the quality of their food and service. The lady with glasses came out the door and waved to us when we left, will be making Takumi our go to date night Japanese restaurant

Everything we had was killer. When to eat in but didn't know it only had 10 seats. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Switched to take out. Spend about $125 got a little bit of everything. Definitely going back.

It was unbelievably good. I love Japanese food, and have eaten at a few other restaurants, but this was by far the best I have had. Worth the cost and the wait. The staff was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend.
