Dissapointed with the Cliff tonight. The Shrimp Jafreezi consisted of barely cooked onions and peppers which gave it a bitter taste. The butter chicken was too sweet, you could taste the sugar in the sauce. The chicken curry and the lamb korma were both very good. The biggest problem was the price. When ordering a 20 dollar curry it should come with rice but not here. For two cups of rice we were charged 12 dollars and an extra 5 dollars for a single piece of Naan bread. Thats 17 dollars for something that probably cost the restaurant 1 dollar.

Our experience at the restaurant and the Clarion Pointe hotel was excellent !! . When we arrived last Friday we were welcome by Delfy and Piyush. They are problems solving people and we felt no issues at all , the bedroom was clean and comfy ... inviting for the next opportunity that we plan visiting Medicine Hat. The Cliff restaurant & Bar is connected internally with the hotel which is really convenience in winter time. We ate at the restaurant, food was really good and the waitress attention was top notch , friendly , attentive and paying attention to details . I also like a lot the renovation style , combining the new colors with the old stylish furniture. I highly recommend the food , good price and generous portions. If you are planning to visit Medicine hat , don't hesitate to stay in the hotel Clarion Pointe and enjoy the food at the restaurant.
We chose to go here because it was close to the theater and we arrived 90 minutes before the show. This was a complete disaster for us. Three of us arrived at 5:30. My wife and daughter got drinks, I got a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm and quite undrinkable. They use a thermal carafe and leave it sit until it is empty. The coffee I was served should never have been served to anyone. After I advised the coffee was undrinkable I asked for a tea, masala chai. I was still waiting 30 minutes later. The server finally noticed that I had no tea and said it was "being prepared". It still didn't show up for ten more minutes. The server then claimed it had to be made by hand and that is why it took so long. Bullshit, they simply gave poor service, the tea was forgotten that was what happened. We waited, and we waited, and we waited, finally at 7:00PM we could not wait any longer. We asked for our order to go. When we finally opened the order hours later after the show we had no rice for any of the three orders. They kept the rice on three meals so the coupon was effectively already deducted from the bill. They offered us a $10 off coupon which is useless, we won't be going back. If you have a lot of spare time and don't mind really bad service then maybe you will accept the way they treat you here.

Attention Medicine Hat People please check your receipts after the payment. they charged us 7$ (18%)extra without any consent on the name of gratuity without the permission. Tip should be customers right. I would have given negative stars but unfortunately never mind. I will never go back to this place.

We stayed in the attached hotel and ate here every night! Service was friendly, fast and professional. The manager checked on us as well, truly great service. Food was UNBELIEVABLE. We tried quite a few different dishes and enjoyed every single one. The Indian dishes were so flavourful with large portions and the steaks, wow, absolutely outstanding! Can’t wait tovisit again!

Without reservation we showed up with a group of 15.We chose this restaurant because we love their Indian selection, but chose here because they also offered a western food selection.They sat us without missing a beat, we were soooo impressed with the food!!!The whole rule of don't order a steak at an ethnic restaurant does not apply here. The steak was amazing! The Salmon was amazing! The Indian (of course) was amazing.Our server and the other girl working did such an incredible job of handling all of us.Thank you Cliff Restaurant!!!Another great experience!!!
