Absolutely the best Mexican food in Medicine Hat. Service is great 👍 Could use some more decor to match the amazing service and food. Prices are really decent as well. Worth the visit, will not disappoint!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Found this based on high rating on Google, and recommendations on Reddit as we were only in Medicine Hat for a few hours, passing through on a road trip.

I had the torta with pulled pork and refried beans, my husband had the mexicali with fries. The salsa bar was a cool touch, to be able to get the spice level of your choice to have with the complementary chips, or to add to your dish in general.

Genuinely one of the best casual restaurants in the city. I've tried almost every restaurant in the city, but only a small few have been able to provide a solid price:quality/quantity of food that felt worth it. I couldn't imagine anyone walking away disappointed from The Mexican Hat. It has become a regular stomping grounds.
