Great natural health spot! The food was delicious! We stopped for a quick breakfast my daughter has been a few times. My avocado toast was delicious 😋 the balsamic vinegar was very rich and eloquent I really loved it. Also lots of GF options.

Great spot for a lunch. Ham and cheese with a smokey split pea soup….perfect. Hot, fresh & flavourful. High quality and fair value. I’ll be back.

Met a friend and enjoyed hot chocolate, matte and the most amazing banana walnut muffins I’ve ever eaten. Nice crust on the outside, didn’t need any butter. There were many nice baked goods to choose from, it was tough to decide.

My wife and I went to the Zucchini Blossom market and cafe in Medicine Hat and I was blown away by the food quality, service, decor and prices. The cafe has house made, delicious, savoury and sweet food and drinks brought to your table by friendly, helpful staff. It is comfy, bright, clean, and tastefully decorated inside with local art on the wall from Medicine Hat Medalta clay district. There is also a small market area with ethnic groceries, tea and teapots for sale.

I had the best sandwich that I have ever eaten with their El Gaucho sandwich, which was on a panini that was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with spiced, roast pork, cheddar cheese and mayo with what looked like a broccoli floret chimichuri, that finished it off wonderfully. It was absolutely delicious and delightful. My wife had the roasted apple and parsnip soup (with local parsnips), it was smooth, crunchy with apple and gingery from the parsnips.

To drink I had a lovely green tea latte and my wife had a coffee that she went back for seconds. The other thing that I will mention is the cute plates and cups that everything is served on, that are all handmade pottery. You just don’t see things like this in a normal cafe.

Lastly, as we all know, a cafe is only as good as its baked goods and the Zucchini Blossom didn’t disappoint. We tried the Nanaimo bar cheesecake, which was beautiful to look at and tasted just as good. I couldn’t resist the peanut butter coconut bar, which blew my mind! Everything that we ate was absolutely delicious and the quality reminded me of when we were in Paris.

My wife even took home one of their zucchini, carrot, cranberry muffins for breakfast and she loved it. Medicine Hat is very lucky to have a boutique cafe like this. The food is fresh, thoughtfully made, has healthy, vegetarian options, as well as farm to table options. A true artisan style cafe that I don’t believe I have seen the like in Canada. You can tell when people love their jobs and it’s clear to see here, as it’s in the food.

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, salads and soups and sandwiches.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of options, plus gluten free options. Ask staff.

Parking: Lots of parking.

Kid-friendliness: More adult oriented food and drinks, but there is food that kids would like.

Amazing staff, amazing owner, scrumptious food offerings, an abundance of refreshing drink options. You cant go wrong making ZB a regular stop.

10/10!! They have AMAZING hot chocolate, I like mine sweet and it was perfect! Lots on the menu including Italian sodas, lots of take-home merchandise, EXCELLENT customer service and energy, amazing atmosphere and seating variety. They bring your order to where you’re sitting and they grab your dishes from you so you don’t need to take them to the register again. Will definitely go back and absolutely recommend!
