First of all, this place is amazing! It's such a cosy little place, and the lady that owns it is super friendly. And let me tell you about the food. I've never had such great soup as the shepherds pie soup. Then I had the clubhouse which must've been 5 pounds at least! Such good food and such a great environment. If you're ever going through millet definitely stop and eat there.....

I had the most amazing turkey cranberry sandwich last week. Piled high with tender, roasted turkey, bacon, fresh veg, and a cranberry aoli. Huge sandwich and well worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

This is very much a tiny small-town business - regulars propped up at the table in the corner, local newspapers available for browsing, business cards from local business owners on display, and the folks behind the counter apparently knowing everyone who came in by name. The sandwich menu was comparably extensive to any place you'd find in a big city however, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sandwich quality was great - generous fillings, good quality ingredients. I was sad I wasn't hungrier, and that it's too far out of the way for me to likely return often. If I'm ever driving through Millet again though I'll definitely try another of their sandwiches!
