Come quite often for breakfast, love the eggs benny! Have went at different times, all good, but especially love their Saturday evening events!! Always a different menu on the Sat nites, have never been disappointed! Oooo and the peppermint mocha’s with the coconut macaroons ❤️ Great service , nice little cafe ambience!
So, how lucky are we in Millet to have had dine in or take out Jiggs Dinner last night (and the night before)!
Liz Stringer poured her heart and Newfoundland soul out at The Old Bank Cafe to create two nights of a scoff that surely did Newfoundlanders proud. Bringin’ her Jiggs dinner to town again: what a treat!
I had to get mine as “take out” so I ordered it early in the day to be sure I got a plate. Liz made sure it was piping hot for me at pick-up;...read full review
Old Bank hosted our private staff Christmas party and it was tremendous! Jag created A bespoke menu for us of stuffed pork chops, sweet potato mash and all the fixins. The staff hosted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Definitely consider Old Bank for an event!

The Old Bank Cafe is a hidden gem that serves consistently fantastic food in a relaxing, old-fashioned setting. The cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, making it a real treasure worth visiting from surrounding towns. The chef's creations are a flavor genius, with delicious and well-spiced dishes. Vegetarian options are offered and some gluten-free options are available. The restaurant is a quint eclectic converted bank with country hospitality. The potatoes' wedges were the best ever tasted, crisp and beautifully seasoned with herbs and tender on the inside. The staff welcomed guests like old friends. They also offer coloring mats and crayons for kids. The food is amazing, the barista coffee exquisitely prepared, and all for a reasonable price. The fact that this little treasure was in an old bank just adds to the charm of the experience. Everything tried has been amazing. Especially love the Biscuits and gravy along with the Eggs Benedict. There is also delicious baked goods to try or enjoy for dessert. The best clubhouse sandwich was found here, a perfect combination of fresh ingredients and toasted just right. It's unexpectedly delish. The Croque Madam and cheesecake filled French toast are also noteworthy.
