This is a nice quiet restaurant for dinner, the food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant definitely has heart as the workers were completely helpful and delivered the most delicious food ever! Homemade apple crisp using actual apples that didnât come from a can!

This place is amazing! We visited today for the first time and were greeted by the 3 loveliest ladies! They immediately gave us the warmest welcome, patiently helped me navigate the menu, and even offered extra food for my kiddos on the house! Not only that, upon finding out it was my husbandâs birthday, bought us out a dessert with candles to celebrate. Just the sweetest staff and family run business! And to top it off, one of the lovely ladies came out with balloons for my kids, just because.
And the food- amazing!! The brisket, was delicious and our favorite. We finished our order and went back to order more. The corn bread, mash with gravy, slaw- so good! Even the kids loved it. This is a true hidden gem. Def the best spot for bbq smoked meats in the Edmonton area. Weâll be back for sure! Thanks for making us feel so special and welcome todayâ€ïž

This place is phenomenal. The BBQ was absolutely next-levelâperfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and the sauces? Unreal. The portions were generous, the sides were spot on, and the overall vibe was just fantastic.

In the cold, relenting winter, I searched desperately for solace in the heart of Nisku. I found Cookshack BBQ, and two sweet angels, Lanaya and Janis. When all hope was lost, they were a light at the end of the tunnel. I was met with warmth and a calm serenity that dressed every fiber of my being. Have I finally found paradise? I thought. They greeted me with such elegance and love that could only be reiterated through their food. Never has such succulent pulled pork embraced with my taste buds. The brisket melted in my mouth like fresh butter on the stove. The ribs were as tender as a mother's bosom. The mac n cheese was sheer excellence personified in a representation of macaroni and melted cheese crafted to perfection. And the mashed potatoes so wonderfully decorated with the most delectable mouth-watering gravy. Thank you for this blessed experience. I will never forget the lovely people helping me and the amazing food here at Cookshack BBQ. They changed my life.
