Edo Japan is my go-to for fresh and tasty fast . The veggies are super crisp. Quick service, clean space, and delicious every time!

Didn’t like the employees behaviour . Then took a mango bubble tea last week and it was so bitter and awful that I had to throw it away.

I was honestly appalled when I visited this Edo Japan. There looked to be mould or some kind of heavy grime buildup right next to the fresh vegetables in the food prep area. It was disgusting to see and makes me seriously question their cleaning and food safety standards. I won’t be coming back unless they clean up and address this properly.

I usually love Edo Japan—great food and generally great service! However, during a recent visit to the location at the Edmonton International Outlet Collection Mall food court, I was really disappointed. While waiting for my food after placing my order, I noticed the food prep area was visibly dirty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time—there even appeared to be mold buildup, which was disgusting to see.

This is a serious hygiene concern, and I hope management takes immediate action to improve cleaning and maintenance. I’d love to keep coming back, but cleanliness needs to be a priority—especially where food is being prepared.

Met the crankiest employee at the register today, no hello, no thank you, the food is still great, as edo is one of my go to restaurants here on the mall. Im still gonna come back but hopefully an improve customer service next time.

The guy remain on phone, I ordered a teriyaki bowl too less quantity like it was half empty

My wife and her parents were treated like second class citizens by what i can only assume was some kind of misogynist or racist guy cooking the food. For what it's worth the food is fine. But to be treated this way while I am not present. And then for them to realize we aren't going to put up with that only to stop the nonsense attitude when they see me approaching is pretty disgusting. You work in service, get your mind wrapped around that when you're at work. You aren't some prince that everyone has to put up with because you're special somehow. Grow up or move on from this industry if you can't treat people respectfully. Also put a name tag on so your co workers don't catch any flak for your poor decisions.

The one star only applies to this location. Avoid it is my suggestion!!
I would give it zero if possible. They totally messed up my order, service is absolutely horrible.
I ordered beef teriyaki bento box. First they told me they are out of cabbage, so for the veggie there is only mushroom and broccoli. I said fine. And then I was told for the sides, they ran out of California rolls…. which is pretty much the reason I wanted the bento box… I didn’t want extra hassle so I just ordered other sides.
In the end, there is NO mushroom, ONLY broccoli in the meal. I ordered brown rice but got white rice. I’m just speechless.

Almost 20 mins before close I go to order food and the lady working the till says they are not taking anymore orders, they were the only restaurant in the food court not taking anymore orders.
