“We had the pleasure of being served by Gurleen. She was absolutely awesome. Attended our every need and the service was outstanding. My wife, daughter and I had all loved our meals. Food was hot, fresh and for 1 dollar more I had all you can eat ribs. Definitely recommend this place. As we live in Airdrie and are visiting for the air show ans lost our Swiss Chalet a few years back in Airdrie, but glad we went.”

I stopped in one day after work because I've heard rave reviews about the chicken here so I asked if I could buy just a couple pieces to try, see if I liked it or not. The staff were quick to accommodate me - I paid for 2 pieces and they generously gave me 3. I have never had such delicious chicken in red Deer - the meat was tender, the coating was crunchy and it wasn't greasy like at other places. Went back into the restaurant the next day quickly and informed the cook "best chicken ever". I will absolutely go there the next time I want chicken!”

Their chirashidon is absolutely amazing — super fresh, generous portions, and honestly reminds me of Korean chirashi-don with gochujang, which I loved. The bowl is very big and filling, definitely worth the price.

What really stands out is the warm, friendly service. It feels like a true family-run business, and you can really sense the care they put into the food and customers.

If you’re in Red Deer and craving fresh Japanese-style rice bowls or sushi, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!”

The only downside was the service. The servers were constantly checking on us to the point that it felt overwhelming rather than attentive. We could barely have a conversation without being interrupted. My friend experienced exactly the same thing.

Great service doesn’t have to mean hovering over customers. A little more space would have made the experience much more enjoyable.”

“My partner and I had the best brunch I think of all time! The feature menu all look so tasty, but I went with the strawberry bruschetta toast with bacon and my partner ordered the pork belly benny. Potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and flavourful in the center. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly smooth, creamy, and delicious. The berry bruschetta was the perfect flavour combo, with fresh and high quality ingredients. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the service was amazing too. There was nice music playing at a very reasonable volume. Easily the top breakfast spot in Red Deer. It’s connected to Forno through the washrooms, which by the way were stunning and well-kept. There’s a shelf and a mirror in each stall which I really appreciated as lots of public washrooms have nowhere to set your phone. Our server was the sweetest and most accommodating, even while handling multiple tasks! She had really pretty pink/reddish hair and made great conversation. There also appeared to be lots of seating and places to book for larger groups. The decoration and layout were also beautiful. Patio too. Thank you for the excellent experience!”

I told him that I would like that today and he can chat on his own time not mine. He get snarky with me. I over hear him say to the other girls that he should spit in my milkshake. Needless to say I was livid. I told him I heard what he said about spitting in my shake. He denied it but I know what I heard. I will not be going back to DQ and I demand that you fire that kid. I asked if I could have fresh fries, and she was incredibly friendly, understanding, and made sure they were cooked fresh just as I requested. The fries came out hot, crispy, and delicious! Joyce’s excellent customer service and attention to detail really stood out.

Get to see the old man who has been there since maybe the 90s is still there and kicking to this day. Always put a smile on the costumers and on his face as well. Happy to see folks approve of the cooking, and giving memories forever and ever. Bottom line, its great to come and enjoy the food and how well they cook up the meals. I for one am still happy to see this place is still there, keeping some how the magic of Parkland mall alive for as long as they can. We had a game in mind but there truly is something for everyone. Would love to see a label that indicates a game is co-op. The food menu has tons of variety, whether you want a quick snack or something a bit more filling. The store itself is clean, well organized, and really comfortable to hang out in. The retail section is a bit overwhelming, not really sure how the games are organized there. The staff were a big highlight too: they greeted us right when we walked in and were super friendly and helpful, especially when explaining how everything works and helping us get started with the games. “If you're going to have fries at Peter's, they are amazing. Not greasy, just the right amount of salt and cut and fried fresh when ordered. The only thing I have to add about the fries is that a small it's more than a medium size at most restaurants. My husband and I always forget to order 1 order of small fries between us. I'm pretty sure that even one order of the small fries we'd still not be able to finish one between the two of us.
Oh and the Milk Shakes are the best in this whole area. They are so thick that you have to suck until your cheeks are puckered inside your mouth. That in itself tells you have nice and thick your milk shake is, and let's not forget the flavour, whoa, it taste like what it should. If you order a Pina Colata, that's what you get, a real Pina Colata, you get the Pineapple and Coconut with real coconut in there!! The regular hamburgers are very filling and very tasty...

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and took great care of our large group. Organizing a team and so many families is never easy, but everything was handled smoothly, and the food and service were excellent.
