Canton location is now called Fusion! I am beyond happy to learn that the former Fusion Cafe owners/cook have returned to the restaurant scene in Red Deer!!! Brenda is a delight to speak with and their food is divine. The spicy salty Squid is stunningly great. I also enjoy their Pad Thai. Servings are large and is simply the best, freshest tasting food. I am so glad to learn you have returned to share your gifts of cooking!

This restaurant changed ownership, and the quality and flavours has been lost.

I read some negative reviews which made me Leary.
But I decided to try for myself
Everything was good if not great...Ginger beef not over done like someone posted .Beef and broccoli very fresh and hot and i enjoyed the spring roll very Similar to Eka in parkland mall.

I had the pleasure of dining at Canton Kitchen for the second time last month, and I must say, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming on both occasions. The food, crafted with top-notch ingredients, was simply delightful. During my conversation with the owner, she mentioned that they had recently acquired Canton Kitchen. It's safe to say that they are excelling in their new venture!

New owners, new taste. It’s not the same at all anymore. The chicken fried rice is bland, so are the chicken balls. This was the best Chinese food place in town and now I’ll have to find my new go to place. Disappointing.

Ginger beef was overcooked past crisp to burnt. The chicken chow mein tasteless and the lemon chicken mediocre. Shanghai fat noodles tasteless and sweet and sour pork ok. 80 plus dollars and some of the worst food we've had will not be back.

The food is not the same since the new ownership. I get it, every chef needs to put their signature on their food but you should have stuck with a good thing. I was a 20 year customer with Canton and now without a good Chinese take out restaurant. I am saddened.

Extremely impressed with how well they accommodate a gluten allergy. I’m always so happy with my meal. It’s a must stop place for me whenever I pass through red deer

The food has changed at Canton kitchen since new owners took over and not for the better. We weren't happy when we ordered over Christmas 2024, but thought we'd give them another try since its been our go to place for 20 years. Unfortunately, will never order from here again. It was way worse than last time. The ginger beef had a yellow coating on it which was weird looking and chewy. The sweet and sour pork was too chewy to eat. The chicken fried rice was just white rice and scrambled egg and tiny bits of chicken with no flavour at all. It just tasted like white rice. The broccoli was mushy and the lemon chicken was really dark brown from being over cooked in the frier. I wish there was a zero star option. Friendly delivery guy though, he gets 5 stars. We let the restaurant know that it wasn't satisfactory and the manager said maybe it's just our taste buds.

One of the best restaurants in red deer. The authenticity of the foods are really good mostly the sweet and sour pork and fried wanton like there's no other chinese restaurants can make it. Totally recommended!
