I ordered a Chicken curry which wasn’t really a Curry.
Wasn’t even 1% spicy. 🤔
The vegetables and protein were ok but still not what I expected.
I haven’t found one Chinese restaurant in Red Deer that can make one.
I have to go to Leduc Edmonton for that. 😪
Have only had take out from Mandarin but more than 5 visits now. The beef and broccoli, dinners for one, prawn chow fun, salt & pepper squid are all very excellent!
Food is good, but…building, for sit in, is horribly cold. Do NOT go to sit in. Plates, cutlery, cups, all freezing cold. Ate with winter coats on! Food went cold very quick. Im sure take out is fine.

Mandarin Restaurant BBQ&Grill serves delicious Chinese food that has pleased customers for years. Despite its recent closure, its legacy lives on. The restaurant was known for its excellent dishes, including the highly-recommended salt and pepper tofu, ginger beef, mixed vegetables, salt and pepper dry ribs, and chicken Shanghai noodles. The food remains crispy and delicious even for take-out, making it a spot worth trying.
