Honestly atmosphere probably deserves the most credit here. If you’re looking for an Alberta small town saloon experience, this is it. Menu was much more interesting than expected with farm to table items. All the food we ordered was served up hot and tasty and leaps and bounds above normal pub style food. Service was friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the saloon. If you’re passing through and the saloon is open, go enjoy.

This is a hidden gem that everyone should visit. Have a brunch/ lunch and enjoy the western hospitality. The hog Mac and Cheese are something to die for, the absolute best we ever had.

If you are near here or planning a trip close by, this place MUST be added to your list of stops. The first thing you get is two happy lovely smiles from the friendliest servers you will ever meet. If they boast about their sangria, take their word for it and get one. The atmosphere is from another era. The mining history of their town is captivating and the ceiling is covered in signed currency from around the world. The food is incredible and the prices are more than manageable. If I'm ever back in the area I will go here wether I'm hungry or not.

If you intend to close in the middle of the day during tourist season at least tell the visitor centre so they don’t send people to your bar and/or update your google listing. So irresponsible and disrespectful to people who have travelled to visit the bar.

oh wow this place is definitely buried and you generally have to know some people who have been here to find it. look up the name and it's location near Drumheller and you will find it. they do amazing brisket, their own smokehouse and great BBQ. Burgers and fries, chicken and potato skins also a delight. the location even has its own little niche story and the staff are very friendly. also they are dog friendly location, even offering some specific dog only food you can get them like specific biscuits etc. I advise looking it up and visiting, won't be disappointed

What a hidden gem! Worth the drive... actually, the drive is part of the experience! We were greeted with friendly staff, an amazing atmosphere full of fun stories and history. We enjoyed the burgers and although mine wasn't made as I had asked they quickly apologize and made it again with little wait. Try the onion rings...they were the best I have ever had! Highly recommend checking this place out!
