“We came to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed! From the second we sat down, our server Stephanie was kind, attentive, and informative…our chef Alvin was engaging, fun, and entertaining! Both of these staff members made it truly an unforgettable visit…they both went above and beyond, and interacted with our children throughout the entire meal and made it an incredible experience for our entire family. This is definitely more than just a restaurant - it is absolutely an experience and we would recommend 100% (especially for kids - they won’t stop talking about how much fun they had)!”

“First timers in Calgary, on holiday from England. After scanning the area around our hotel for places to eat and drink we found The Prohibition Bar and decided to give it a go.
Well...we absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The atmosphere was great, we booked for 6pm so it was fairly quiet. Our server, Mitch, was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely excited about some of the cocktails my wife was ordering.
Food wise, we had the Nonna's Meatballs and Spicy Mango Chicken Nachos...both were great.
Wonderful experience, so glad we did it !!!

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with genuine smiles and a relaxed, no-rush atmosphere. The menu has lots of choices, which can be a little overwhelming at first, but the owner is always happy to explain everything and make great recommendations.

The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and tastes like it was made with care. It's not overly salty or loaded with MSG and you can really taste the fresh, home-cooked quality in every bite.

For the price you pay, the quality of the food and the outstanding customer service are on another level.

“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!”

The food is great, the service is good and the ambiance is great! This place has a bbq grill and it is on the expensive side, but in my view, it is worth it. I will definitely come back here again.”

“I visited the Calgary Subway today (Sunday) and wanted to share some positive feedback. This was my first time eating at this location, and I am so glad I went. I usually stay away from eating out, but this place definitely changed my mind and I will go back!
​The store was extremely clean and the food tasted great. Most importantly, the employee named Nav gave me excellent customer service. She was very professional and welcoming. It is in a great spot in our beautiful city, located in the Deerfoot City plaza right across from my GoodLife gym. Please let her know she is doing a wonderful job!✌️🙏❤️”
