This place is nasty. Food poisoning and cheap food at its best

Took my wife there for her birthday. Food wasn't even close to fresh. Dry very dry, not worth the money spent. Service was extremely slow and we had to wait for ever to get the bill. Will not be returning...

We went for on Friday the 27th of Dec at 3.30 pm, food was all over cooked , primarily was well well done, waitress even said she couldn't eat it and took it away, chicken balls and pork over cooked couldn't chew, this had happened before to us to end of story we won't be back , horrible experience for 96 dollars with the tip

Did not enjoy the food tonight Dec.25 at all. 5 of us are now feeling ill and not because of the amount we had ate. We have had great food in the past at the south side location. Thought we’d try a different location. Never again. Pork dry, beef tough, chicken balls under cooked and the turkey had an odd taste. The only thing that we all agree on is the potato dishes and gravy was good. Totally disappointed considering the web site stated price at $39.95 and tonight it turned out to be $45+ and they added tip to the bill. Overall worse Christmas night

I recently visited Buffet Royale Carvery, and I have to say, it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell something was off. The food was lukewarm at best, and many of the items on the buffet looked like they’d been sitting out for hours. The quality of the meat was poor, and the vegetables were overcooked and tasteless. Even the so-called “fresh” salads looked wilted and unappetizing.

What made the experience even worse was the greediness of the owner. It felt like they were more interested in squeezing as much money out of customers as possible rather than providing a decent meal. They charge a high price for what is essentially subpar food, and they even add hidden charges for drinks and extras that are misleadingly advertised as included.

On top of all that, I was shocked to hear about some of the questionable practices going on behind the scenes. There seems to be a disregard for food safety, with items left out for way too long, and some dishes not even being replenished properly. It’s clear that cost-cutting is a priority over customer satisfaction and safety.

I wouldn’t recommend Buffet Royale Carvery to anyone. There are far better places to go for a satisfying meal, and it’s hard to support a business that cuts corners and puts profit over quality and ethics. A total letdown!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Buffet Royale Carvery, and I have to say, it was a complete letdown on multiple fronts. While the food was subpar and disappointing, what was even more appalling was how they treat their employees. It’s clear that the management has no regard for their staff, creating a toxic work environment.
First off, servers are forced to pay a 6% "tip" on every bill, regardless of whether or not they receive a tip from the guests. This means that hard-working employees are essentially paying out of their own pockets for something they didn’t earn, which is not only unfair but downright exploitative. To make matters worse, servers are also held responsible for any dine-and-dash situations, meaning they have to cover the cost of meals that customers leave without paying for. This is an absurd practice and adds unnecessary stress to their already demanding jobs.
As for the food, it was nothing to write home about. The dishes were bland, underseasoned, and just generally unappetizing. The variety was there, but the quality was far from what you’d expect from a buffet-style restaurant. For the prices they charge, you’d think they could at least offer decent meals, but unfortunately, that’s not the case.
In short, Buffet Royale Carvery may look like a convenient option for an all-you-can-eat experience, but it’s a nightmare for the employees and a letdown for the customers. Until they start treating their workers with the respect they deserve and improve the quality of their food, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! booked a party 5 months before for Christmas Eve! They gave us the whole hall as a reservation, then on the day of the party, the manager told us that there are other people who is also booked inside the hall! WHAT THE HELL!!! told us that the manager has changed! NO NOTICE EVEN A WEEK OR SO!!! so our party was ruined!!! No space for the games and also for some of our visitors! SOUND SYSTEM was also told that it is included in the place, but on the day they wont let us use it! UNDER MAINTENANCE??!!!
Server doesnt clean our tables, didnt even offer drinks!!! From start of the party until the end, our tables are full of dirty plates! Didnt give us discount for the damage, but INSTEAD require us to pat for GRATUITY! NEVER NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!

Do not go here waited ten minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant, the chicken was pink . and ontop of it they gave us food poisoning so bad we started throwing up as soon as we got home. And even after serving pink chicken the manger didn't understand the problem and asked us if we wanted more! then charged us 90 dollars for undercooked food that gave us poisoning. To add to it they don't include the amount of alchol they put in thier drinks on the menu I ordered a raspberry sunrise only to have it taste more like pineapple which wasn't even on its description and it was almost 9 dollar for a single oz of alcohol! AVOID this place AT ALL COST!!!
