I expected more from a buffet that I heard so much about … unfortunately the food was not warm enough, some had been sitting there for a while and was not tasty at all. The selection at the carvery area was blah. Had to ask for a fresh roast beef to be added as the one there looked over cooked and too hard to cut. Gravy was not a good temp.
Nobody paid attention to the nachos section… a refill was needed the entire time we were there.
They had more than enough staff around and would have expected the food area to have been better taken care of.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Would have had better service anywhere else. The lady working tonight was absolutely horrible to us! Made us pay 15% gratuities on two different bills even though we were parties less than 8. When we asked about it and asked about the service we were told not to come back. HORRIBLE TREATMENT! WILL NEVER RETURN!

Honestly was a good place to go for the first time, however food wasn't as I expected. Super dry and somes bugs around however, isn't really an cost friendly way to keep it warm and too keep flys away. However the ice cream was good and same with the fruit. Could improve, would recommend somewhere else for a all you can eat

They have a beautiful, large room that works well for meetings. It's well set up with AV, and sound, plus it's protected from the noise of the regular restaurant.

I was there TWICE in the same week, that's how good this place is. Amazing food, great desserts. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Definitely a high end quality buffet. Great selection of food choices, something for everyone. NOT cheap but so worth it!

Just don’t bother. TO TOP OFF THIS REVIEW….THEY CHARGE YOU A SURCHARGE TO USE YOUR DEBIT CARD TO PAY FOR THE MEAL!!! - Added after the initial review We seen the restaurant, and went in on a whim. The entry looked nice, and for the $39.99 per person price tag I expected a good buffet. We waited for a LONG time to be seated. They just kept walking past us and not even acknowledging us. The one worker looked like he was a supervisor as he was wearing a collared shirt, looked at us several times, but never even said hi or we will be right with you. I’ve never spit so many different items out of my mouth. The Mac and cheese was utterly disgusting. It was soggy, and like mush. As soon as it tried it I literally gagged and spit it out on my plate. The meat is mostly gristle and bone, very little actual meat. It was very tough, and near impossible to cut. They brand themself as a carvery. They had roast beef and garlic coil processed sausage. The beef had an almost earthy flavor like a mushroom, but worse. The sausage was just a typical coil you buy at Walmart. They also make it difficult to actually get that meat, they have it behind a guard, where the employee has to cut it for you. They don’t staff anyone there, so you have to go find someone to cut it for you. The corn on the cob, the cob was brown on the inside and crazy soggy. We asked for a high chair, and it’s VERY obvious it has not been cleaned in months. Honestly, save your money, go somewhere else.
The buffet Royal on 95th is absolutely disgusting, when there when I first moved to Edmonton and didnt notice until one day I checked my plate and found out it was dirty small particles of food were dried on and the dishwasher obviously didnt do a very good job of cleaning,so I checked out more plates and all were dirty,I cleaned my own plate and left, the food was good and the servers were good, the manager was upset and I told her about it,and she felt the plates and sure enough removed a bunch of plates, was told to leave came back, and tried again same results, and was told I'm banned the restaurant in sherwood park is much better and clean I will be reporting them to the BBB AND TO HEALTH CANADA,DONT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT ON 95TH ST,EDMONTON
This place is nasty. Food poisoning and cheap food at its best
Took my wife there for her birthday. Food wasn't even close to fresh. Dry very dry, not worth the money spent. Service was extremely slow and we had to wait for ever to get the bill. Will not be returning...

We went for on Friday the 27th of Dec at 3.30 pm, food was all over cooked , primarily was well well done, waitress even said she couldn't eat it and took it away, chicken balls and pork over cooked couldn't chew, this had happened before to us to end of story we won't be back , horrible experience for 96 dollars with the tip
