“We visited Joey's Sherwood Park with a friend that was visiting from Houston on May 14/26 at 6 p.m. I have nothing but good things to say about our dining experience from start to finish. The hostess was very welcoming, and the food was excellent. But what put it over the top for me was our server Calder. He was outstanding. Very friendly, shook our hands as he introduced himself. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional. He even changed our cutlery for us after we finished our appetizers. And the speed of service was great, attending to all our needs. It was a great night out! Thank-you Joey's & Calder for making it so. Will definitely go back.”

I walked into La Patrona today around 130PM after driving 9 hours from BC for a funeral tired, hungry and just meh. I was greeted with the brightest smile , the smells were incredible. Immediately sat down at a table. My food came out fast , hot and so so phenomenal. The portions HUGE. I still can’t rave enough about my lovely waitress ! The kindest smile , such a soft spoken voice and just radiating with positivity. Kindness goes along way in life. Highly recommend!”

“Last week went to Purolator and it smelled so good outside went in to UFO and asked If they had GF as I am Celiac. Brought the frozen crust to show me and to read the ingredients, so ordered one for me and regular for the family. OMG the best GF I have had in 11 years.The family said theirs was delicious as well. Craving more tonight, the fellow was so informative and kind. Will be back soon, even though we are on the opposite side of Sherwood Park. 15/10 . Price very reasonable!”

I went with the osso buco—one of my favourites—and it did not disappoint! Mine came with pasta aglio e olio, which I hadn’t tried as a pairing before, but now it’s my new go-to. The meat was fall-apart tender, loaded with flavour, and the portion size was spot on. Great food, friendly and professional service, and refreshingly down-to-earth prices. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We ordered lunch pick ups as we were in a time crunch. Food took a little bit longer than the quoted time, but it was very tasty although a bit heavy on msg. The portions were very good and I honestly enjoyed every dish especially the roti with curry - that sauce is to die for! I would return again when I’m in the area next.”

The space has excellent natural light, a great layout, and a welcoming atmosphere. The team working here is fantastic professional, friendly, and clearly committed to keeping the store in top shape. Food tastes homemade and small batch- I had a soup and sandwich special- pastrami/noodle soup and BLT with cheddar, my husband had the bangers and mash- the sausages were locally sourced and delicious. Staff is very attentive and personable. Really nice place to have a proper natter and a catch up with friends- we’ll be back!”

I’m the talent acquisition manager for a trucking company, and I’m up here hiring drivers, because we are expanding, so trying to find a quick good meal in between interviews is so hard! This place has a blow me away!!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! The food is beyond amazing! And so much food for the amount of money that you pay it is unbelievable! We have a similar place like this in Calgary…. So this made me feel at home! This place will definitely be my go to place anytime I’m up in this area! So what are you waiting for? Go get your meat coma on!!!! I don’t know why we can only get five stars because this is a 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ place!!”

“Decided to make a stop here before heading home after the Pink concert. The gingersnap cookie was wonderful. Perfectly spiced. I also tried the carrot cupcake. Carrot cake is my absolute favorite. I had high hopes. It was only ok. The cake itself needed a lot more spice. The frosting needed to be more cream-cheesy. I'll definitely go back and try a different cupcake. The store itself is super cute and I love the way there's other products in there from local people. Support local businesses!”

“We live an hour away and we make a special trip usually every second Sunday to go for pizza and wings there the wings are amazing. The pizza is amazing and we always sit in the lounge and have awesome service. We ordered that to go Pizza and when we open the box in each had a slice the whole pizza wet we didn’t even have one slice to take home.”

“As a disabled person 👨🏻‍🦽,not all local places are accessible. Almost feels on purpose sometimes. Sherlock’s in Sherwood Park is a different story. Friendly accommodating staff like I’ve never experienced. Their tables are well spaced with a good wide path to the accessible bathrooms that a chair can actually fit in and close the door. Food and drinks are prompt , disabled parking always available. I’m going to mention how great the staff are again because they even go out of their way to set up a shorter table near the action on open mic nights . Also the best place for open mic’s Thursdays to see new emerging talent, with the most awesome host and artist Jake Buckley. He’s got a way a making everyone feel comfortable in a laid back atmosphere. I don’t even live in the park or write reviews , but I travel here because they go above.”

The staff were so pleasant, the food was good and the manager/owner supplied our girls with a personal pizza to take home and dessert to go with their meal! He also gave parents/ coaches takeout containers for leftovers so they weren’t wasted. All included in a great price. People, if you are travelling with your kids on a sports team, or even a schools trip, this is a great place to go!!!
