“Let's be honest. It's an old restaurant, attached to an old pub. That said, the age is part of it's charm and has no effect at all on the quality of the food or the friendliness of the service. We consistently go for the Pho - it's a limited selection for that, but just oder the House Special. You won't be disappointed. Prices are par or a little better than comparable places. The vermicelli bowls are also winners, BTW. Can't speak to the other a la cart items as we've yet to try them. Best green onion cakes!“
“The Pho here is just exquisite you tell a lot of time and love goes into the broth. It's my go-to for beef pho and I can't say enough good about it but last time I decided to try the satay well this is now going to be a weekly thing in my life. Unbelievable how good it is incredible broth, fantastic noodles, excellent beef and meatballs, and to top it all off fresh chili's that send it over the top. 10/10“

“My wife and I moved here last year with our new born daughter, and this was one of the first places we went to. The food is absolutely top notch, and the portion sizes are so big, we have had delicious left overs every single time we go. Aside from that, the owner is extremely nice and welcoming. She has been nothing but kind and thoughtful to our family, and really helped make us feel at home. Whether it's take out or dining in, I can't recommend this place enough.“
“One of the better places I’ve been to for a great bowl of Pho; also enjoyed the spring rolls and green onion cakes. Very clean, good portions, quality tasting food and awesome staff. It’s in my old neighborhood and easy access off major routes of 50th Street and Baseline road. A good addition to the Capilano area, we will most definitively be back. Go try it for yourself.“

“I have been coming here for years. They started the first restaurant by Kingsway and now they have been extending to many places. I love their phone. Felt home cook meals. We ordered the Bun Bo Hue, spicy satay rare beef pho, chicken vermicelli, beef stew with egg noodles, chicken salad rolls. They were all very delicious and yummy“
“Pagolac on the south side used to be the go-to pho restaurant when it was in their other south location. Overall, they have a nice selection of food to choose from. In terms of pho, they have good quality pho with nice portions at a good price (especially number 26). However, their soup is not as good now. Their pandan ice cream was another interesting item that's worth trying...but they don't seem to have it readily available anymore. Overall, I’d give them 8.5/10 now“

And really good service a little place and there right up there on my list I would go to taste of Vietnam only for the sitting area and there pretty good too but the owner is a good guy and very helpful here so that's off to this fine establishment so 1# on my list for take out and freshness and flavor mmm good“
