“Only 4 stars because the ginger beef was a little too spicy for my liking and once I got to the noodles....I was eating noodles...and noodles.... However! If you have a larger stomach than me you'd probably be satisfied with the plate. Especially since it was only around 15 dollars for it all. :)Not a bad experience overall, I'd probably come back. “I happened to be in Sherwood park and saw this Indian Restaurant. It had a cozy atmosphere. The food was good . I got a boneless Lamb Biriyani , Aloo tiki and Lamb Rogan Gosh. The quantity and quality of food was good. The service was quick. I took a take out . The restaurant was clean and great for small groups. Parking is available in front of the restaurant and is free. This restaurant is inside a shopping area with many other businesses, medical complex, restaurant, juice restaurants, etc. This restaurant has been open for a couple of years. The pricing of their cuisine is competitive and good . Its a nice place to visit.“
“This place has the best Asian takeout I've ever had between Alberta and Manitoba. Their veggies are fresh and fried tender. The ginger beef is coated legit strips of beef, not grissle. Everything is made in small batches for the buffet style steam table so the food is always getting revolved and it's fresh, right from the kitchen. The staff are pleasant folk who take great pride in their food and business. I just love coming here! You will too!“
“Went there last night for the start of the hockey game. Food was great and there is a variety of it all. So if you have that family or date that just can’t decide on what to have you have choices from Italian to Chinese to good old fashion burgers and fries. Also it won’t break the bank account either. I’m going to be back over and over again and it’s not that far of a drive either.“

The menu options were extensive, and I appreciated the ease of customizing our dishes to our liking. What sets Smilie's apart, however, is their commitment to customer safety, as I found out firsthand.My wife has a newly discovered mushroom allergy, and I had mentioned this in the order notes. When I arrived to pick up our order, I was pleasantly surprised when the head chef/owner himself came out to speak with me. He informed me that the soya sauce originally used in the dishes we ordered contained mushrooms, but they had taken it upon themselves to make alterations to ensure our meal was completely safe for my wife.Not only did they switch to a mushroom-free soya sauce, but they also took extra precautions to prevent any cross-contamination. The chef's dedication to our safety was truly impressive, and he even took the time to explain that the appearance of our dishes might be different due to the change in soya sauce. “The food is Devine. I added watermelon ice-cream fome to the jello it made an delicious fizzy taste. The lettuce shrimp with hot sauce extremely good. Everything is fresh, the correct temperature, and very flavorful. I travel the USA and Canada one of the nicer buffet. I highly recommend stopping by for an excellent meal and experience ?“
